Here is a new game Iam creating to generate conversation in this sometimes in active Nets forum. I am calling this game THE NAME GAME. The rules to the game is simple. RULE#1 You must Name A player(only former/current Nets to be used) who name starts with the last letter in the name posted before yours. Rule#2 You must post a comment(or anything that will generate conversation like a key stat some people might not Know or remember) about the player the person before you posted or even your on player you have selected. Rule#3 Do not repeat players over & over ex. I put Steph Marbury somebody else puts Yinka Dare then sombody else puts Evans (Brian) then somebody else comes in & puts Steph Marbury again because Evans ends with 'S' try and use diversity, to get Nets we have forgotten about into conversations. Rule#4 Use First or last name or even a Nickname as a follow up to the previous name. But please somewhere in ( ) write the comeplete Name to help people who might not be familiar with that person. Coaches names can be used too. Everyone is Free to play not just Nets Fans but you must only use Nets players past or present. hopefully this game will generate conversation. Iam going to start Sam Cassell(1997-1999) Sam Cassell came to the Nets in 97 in a trade that involved the Nets getting Jim Jackson & the Mavs getting Ed o'bannon, Kalid Reeves,Robert Pack. Cassell is my favorite Net of all-time. Now the next person must post a Nets player/coach whos first, last, or nickname starts with L please dont forget to post a comment or fact about your player or the players before your listed player.continue from my bolded player.
Lucious Harris 1997- present One of the Nets' solid contributor off the bench. Averaged 10.3ppg last season.
Sherman Douglas 1997-2000 Played at the University of Srycuse with another former Nets player Ron Seikaly. Sherman a solid backup point guard (to Sam Cassell)on the 1998 Nets team that lose to the Bulls in the first round of the 98 playoffs. Douglas Actually started 2 out of 3 games during the playoffs because Sam Cassell was unable to play due to an injured back.
