    ---------------------------------
    Probable Starting Line-ups:
    [IMG][IMG] Maurice Williams/Gary Payton
    [IMG] [IMG]Deshawn Stevenson/Kobe Bryant
    [IMG] [IMG] Matt Harpring/Devean George
    [IMG] [IMG] Andrei Kirilenko/Slava Medvedenko
    [IMG] [IMG] Greg Ostertag/Shaquille O'Neal
    -----------------------------------
    Questionable/Out:
    Jazz: PG Raul Lopez/Ankle/Probable
    PG Carlos Arroyo/Ankle/Questionable
    SG DeShawn Stevenson/Flu/Questionable
    PF Keon Clark/Ankle/IR
    C Michael Ruffin/Abdominal/IR

    Lakers: SF Rick Fox/Foot/IR
    C Jamal Sampson/Back/IR
    PF Brian Cook/Finger/Out
    PF Karl Malone/Suspension/1 game
    --------------------------------
    Keys to the Game:
Jazz- Ostertag has to do everything he can to deny Shaq the ball in the post and Keep Kobe in check, Andrei needs to have a nice game with Slava defending him. They should be worried about giving Devean George, who came off a bad shooting game, open shots because he is going to be looking to go big.

Lakers: Get Kobe rolling...they cant come out thinking they got this game in raps because the Jazz are a good team and they have a bigger chance to lose now that Malone is out, they need to feed the ball to Shaq because he can man handle Ostertag, and they will need strong bench play from Fisher, Rush, and Russell.
    -------------------------------------
My prediction: The Jazz have a shot to win but they fall shot 95-88

Shaq will dominate this game, and Lakers will win big, period. Even though the game is in LA, I know Malone wanted to play this game badly, but he'll just have to wait.

Lakers in this one, but I expect the Jazz to show what kind of heart they do have, heart however won't be enough.

Lakers win soundly, by about 6-10 pts. Shaq will overwhelm Ostertag.

even though the Jazz has been pretty impressive this season without superstars, I think the lakers will win big by 15-20 points

    6-10 points is soundly?

I can go either way here: Jazz by 5 or Lakers by 7

No one will win by more than 10 points

Lakers win by a comfortable 13 points. Even with Malone out of this game, we have 3 other guys that can pick up the slack.

You mean FIVE [IMG] ? Medevenko has played solid basketball this year, Deaven George is looking like a whole different player, and D-Fish off the bench always helps.

Arroyo has been havin a pretty good season... and if JAzz wants to do anythin, they need one of those two playin.

Tho I don't think is gonna be a close game either, Lakers have no reason to lose, even if Malone is out.

The Jazz learned something very important with this loss, they are very, very deep. Their 11th and 12th mans, Ben Handlogoten and Mo Williams played as well if not better than the starters. Mo Williams got 5 boards, 6 assists, 16 points in 24 minutes. Ben Handlogten got 8 boards and 8 points in 12 minutes going up against Shaq. Utah missed AK47's normal game today, he played really bad statistically. Carlos Arroyo didn't play and he would of done a better job than Raul on this game.

I thought this was going into OT. Their shot selection on the last possesion of the game was poor imo, they had time to get a better shot.

Why didn't AK play from the middle of the 3rd on?????
He didn't play the entire 4th quarter

The Jazz showed major heart. They didn't give up like alot of teams do.

Down by 21 at one point, down by 15 going into the 4th.
Damn, if you didn't gain respect for the Jazz after this game, you've got problems.

You sound biased in your post, but yeah, I'll give Jazz their props for hanging with the Lake show. Just be lucky Malone wasn't playing.

    George saved the Lakers!!!

I don't think AK47 is being biased. Malone or no Malone, they hanged in there against the Lakers rampage and to think everyone's saying that they won't win a lot of games.

Jazz were missing two starters.Their PG was the big loss for them..So you can't use the Malone excuse.Lakers nearly got run off the court by the Jazz 11th and 12th man. That pass by GP was a great one to find George..They were very lucky to win this game.Jazz fought hard to get back into it and nearly stole it at the end.I'm trying to fiqure out where BallerAK47 is being biased.Looks like all facts to me.Care to explain your statement Purple N Gold?
