Ok, biased was the wrong word, but in her post it sounded like she wanted to compare the Jazz to the Lakers, for when she said "they didn't give up like other teams do." We haven't exactly blown away every team, so how did those other teams 'give up', you would actually have to watch more Laker games to make that kind of statement. And then when you say we have to gain respect for the Jazz, of course they get some respect, but don't get it twisted, we have lost to the Grizzlies this year. I'm going to say what I feel. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trail_Blazer76:</div><div class="quote_post">I love the irony</div> I love it how you like to follow me into the Laker forum, just to see what I say, not to post about the game.

I didn't mean people that play the Lakers give up. I was saying teams in general sometime do. BTW I live in So Cal, I watch LA games all the time
And the streak continues...... The Lakers are now 17-3, and what a shot by Devean George. This guy every game just steps up and takes his game to a new level. Is it alright Laker fans to put Devean in the category of the Fab Five? Because I think he deserves it. Because clearly he wasn't like this last year. Now my points on the game. The Lakers actually had a 21 point lead in this game. And always, the Lakers just seem to give us fans heart attacks by allowing the opponent to get back in the game. The Utah Jazz I'll give credit to. Because they could've just rolled over like any other opponent the last 4 games, and allow the Lakers to massacre them, but they played tough. Guys like Raja Bell, Stevenson, and Harpring. They each scored about 10-15 pts, but those pts were huge. Also, for Jerry Sloan to put in rookies in that last period..what other coach would dare do that? And those rookies pitched in with 26 pts off the bench. Too bad for Karl. I know how much he wanted to play against his former team. I guess that'll have to wait until he goes to Utah. A great effort by Mev in Karl's absence. 15 pts. And of course, Kobe, Payton, and Shaq did their usual work. Tuesday night is the Knicks, and I just hope they don't screw around again.

We need to keep teams down when we have them down. There is no excuse for letting a team come back from 20 down in the 2nd half, especially with the talent this team has. Thank god for devean george

Like I said earlier in my post, giving Laker fans heart attacks. If the Lakers played the way they did early in the 2nd half, we wouldn't have to rely on Devean George to save us in the end.
Allnet, don't talk because your Spurs have been losing to easy teams lately. Lakers lucky to win this game? I think it was more that the Jazz were lucky to come back.

it will be down to Kings and Spurs to try and take L.A out in the playoffs.Although right now it will be between Lakers and Kings. But anyway It is pointless talking about it at this stage of the season.Alot can change from now till playoff time. Managed to watch this game.Yes the Lakers were lucky to win this game. They had complete control then clearly got over confident which let Jazz back in it.The Jazz starters were on the bench as Sloan felt they weren't playing hard enough so he played their 2nd unit.Which worked. They came back and had the game in their sights.Just couldn't hit at the end.Lakers miss Malone more than I thought they would.

I was very dissapointed on how the Lakers couldn't maintain their lead. Yet I was impressed on how they came together and rallied when we needed it the most. Devean hit that clutch 3 and that basically sealed our victory. I'm glad that we did indeed lost our lead, because we proved how strong of a team we were without the Mailman. We need these games every now and then to test our endurance and our strength to win.
