new teammates

I just wanted to get yalls opinion on the new transactions that have went through and do you think that will change so your predictions for the playoffs

Check some stats.

 

Raptors are playing great ball. They could get that high if they stay out of injury problems and keep up their intensity.

 

They'll finish high, but look for them to trade for a Center if they are really serious about contending in the playoffs with the top teams.

 

If we were in the Atlantic devision .. the 2nd seed is a huge possibility

 

the raps are 5-0 with the new lineup, i can see them gettin 4-5 spot in the east.

 

Maybe the fifth, because you still have Indiana, that Atlantic Division winner, Detroit, and New Orleans ahead, and i don't see Toronto passing any of them for the season as a whole. They might, but I just don't think so...

yeah that is true cause i think one of their center is injuried so yeah they do need a new center then i think we will be seeing some real comp from them in the playoffs but who should they get though?

 

raps could finnish 2nd or even 3rd. i dont see why not? thats high-ballin it a bit i think, but why not? we look like a top team to me so far

 

Considering you are in the central divison you will not get a 2nd or 3rd seed.A 5th or 6th seed will be most likely.

RAPTORS OWN! I think 3 is out of the question.. but 4 or 5 spots are very well deserved.

 

I say they finished 4th or 5th or 6th. We dont need home court because they have been winning on the road.

Lakers had that same theory last season.You know what happened there.They thought "even if we don't have homecourt we will still win it all".Homecourt is very important in the playoffs.Certainly for eastern conference teams.If lets say you finish 5th and Hornets 4th.You likely won't win that series...while you would have a much better chance if the seeds were the other way around.

BTW .. Lakers are an exceptional case !

 

what about memphis getting bonzi wells. they have been doing pretty good so far too. and dont yall think this season is crazy cause there has been a lot of injuries this year and i think that is what is messin up a lot teams comp so i think that next season if everybody is well there will be a whole lot better comp than this year.
