    Injury Lists

    Cleveland Cavaliers
    Dajuan Wagner
    Bruno Sundov
    DeSagana Diop - out

    Detroit Pistons
    Lindsey Hunter
    Hubert Davis

    Keys To The Game

Cleveland - Keep an eye on Rip hamilton coming off of those screens, switch off, do what ever it takes to get a hand in his face. Box out Ben Wallace to keep him off the boards (easier said than done)

Detroit - If it ain't broke, don't fix it, make the Cavaliers play team defense to try and stop Rip Hamilton, use those screens/pick & rolls early and often.

    The Sandman's Take

Cavs are always right there till the end (ok, so what else is new?) but I will call an upset here. The Pistons have not been looking good of late and at home the Cavs need to be hungry to take advantage of this.

I'm not as brave as you mate, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs got up. Pistons by 8.

James will be up against a veteran PG in Billups. He's coming off a 29 point performance while making 5 3balls.

I'm expecting this game to be close until the last minutes of the fourth. [IMG]

I don't see the Cavs winning this one, anyway you look at it. Hamilton will be way too much. I hope to see a close game.

If the Pistons look down on this team like they did last night they will lose.

    And they meet again...

Not just because I love Cleveland, I do think they have a shot off this. Detroit may be a little steamed and ready to play losing to the very shorthanded 76ers, so they might be a challenge for the Cavs. Yet last time the Cavs played Detroit, the great scoring night for Rip, Cleveland was still close. If they put up a better effort then last times meeting between these two teams, we definantly have a chance.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> LeBron James has decided it's time to take control of the Cavaliers.

Cleveland's star rookie had 23 points and nine assists, and Carlos Boozer scored a career-high 28 points as Cleveland finally won on national television, 95-86 over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night.

James, whose addition to the Cavs has given them unprecedented exposure, expectations and pressure, helped Cleveland improve to 1-5 in prime-time telecasts.

"We finally got one," said James, who followed coach Paul Silas' orders and drove to the basket more than he has all season. "We needed to get one -- whether it was on TV or not."

Cleveland has won just two of 11, but this was a victory that the Cavaliers may one day look back at as the night they became James' team. The No. 1 overall pick has been reluctant to take on a leadership role, but with 22 games now under his belt, James thinks it may be time for him to start showing the way.

"I haven't made myself the complete leader of this team," he said.

But he certainly took a big step.

"Oh, yeah," he said. "It's going to change."

Cleveland also snapped an eight-game losing streak to Detroit. The Cavs hadn't beaten the Pistons since Dec. 4, 2001.

The win was also Cleveland's first over a team with a winning record since the Cavs defeated New Orleans last April 5.

Ricky Davis, whose name continually pops up in trade rumors, had 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Davis also had a vicious dunk, cutting through four Pistons in the fourth quarter to throw one down as the Cavs were putting it away.

They won! WOW! Detroit is really falling apart. I didnt get to watch the game, but must have been great for Cleveland. Larry and co. should be a little worried right now. Thats 3 straight losses and two were to a shorthanded team and the underdog team Cleveland. Great win Cavs.

I am very good at calling these games eh?

LeBron has been very aggressive the last 2 games and has had amazing numbers once again, this after having 2 off games. Key is he is going to the basket, he is not being hesitant anymore.

What can you say about Carlos Boozer? He owned Ben Wallace in every way, shape, and form last night.

Darko Milicic saw some action late in this game, took the final shot of the game, a wide open dunk....he hung himself.

Kenny Smith of TNT summed it up by saying...

"There goes Sam Bowie, I mean Darko Milicic"

    "Sorry, it slipped"

    Harsh Kenny, lol.

Ha a lot of people are harsh on Darko (number 2 pick in a lot of minds means straight away production), but made me chuckle nonetheless. Carlos Boozer could turn into one of the biggest steals of recent times the way he's playing, a real stud and I love his game.

Every team needs a Carlos Boozer, Cleveland just need more of them. Great win though, good to see 'Bron hit a couple of clutch shots in the 4th.

[IMG] Boozer is heading toward being an alite PF in this league, who would not need him a lot? The Cavs became the best rebounding team in the league in his absence.

Now I just expect them to hole on to that claim for the rest of the season.

Yeah i watched the game and the pistons loss as I predicted. I think I didn't post it but I maent to say that the cavs were going to win by 9-11 or something like that. it seems like since the Magic won every prediction about a team winning is coming true, Kind od Freaky if you ask me.
