The Blazers 0-7 losing streak on the road or the Lakers 10 game winning streak? Lets take a look at the two teams schedules for the next 5 games.Of course Blazers being on the road...Note these aren't the Blazers next 5 total games just their road games.

    Blazers

    @ San Antonio
    @ Sacramento
    @ Cleveland
    @ New Jersey
    @ Detroit

    Lakers

    Dallas
    @ Portland
    Denver
    Phoenix
    @ Golden State

^ I agree. Blazers will win against the Cavs and Mavs will win against the Lakers.

The Lakers can destroy all these teams that are next on their schedule. If the Lakers can continue to play with consistency, which I'm confident they will, then this streak will continue for a long time. I just hope that they don't get TOO cocky and relaxed at times.

^ Which happens some of the time and they can't afford to do that against the Mavs.

Raptors winning streak at 5 even though It has been impressive The teams they have faced havn't exactly been great teams. This thread is about current big streaks.5 game winning streak isn't too high.

My guess is the Lakers winning streak ends in Portland.Where Lakers have struggled to win the last few seasons. The Blazers are also very good at home.

The Blazers will definately beat the Cavs and the Lakers will lose to the Blazers in Portland. If not the Blazers, the Warriors will beat them.[IMG]

you dont think a 5 game winning streak is very high? its certainly nothing to sneeze at imo. and philly and seattle arent exactly push-overs. sure its not as impressive as the lake show's run, but i thought it was worth a mention.

It isn't a bad winning streak. The Pistons have had two 5 game winning streaks this season also.Just nothing to shout home about. The Sixers and Sonics both missing some very good players in both those games.Take nothing away from the Raptors they are playing good basketball but they need to play and beat some better teams to be given more credit.

Lakers won't make it past the Denver game in my opinion. Could end earlier, just not later. And I'll take the Blazers at the Cavs. If they can't beat Cleveland, then they don't deserve to end the streak anytime soon.

I don't think the Lakers streak will come to a end this time around, but those teams will force some close games. And I also think the Blazers won't win any of those games, Clevelend if anyone, but besides that I see Portland getting beat for the rest. Lakers have some tough games coming up, we'll definetley beat the Mavs, the reason being is because we haven't been beat at home yet. I don't know if Rudeezy was kidding or not, but the Warriors have a really good chance at us, especially with them being at home. They will all be close games, only time will tell.

I am thinking the Portland streak will end when they go to Cleveland. But, the Lakers streak, I don't think it will end in any of those games. The team with the best chance is Dallas. But, Dallas, they won't win. The Lakers are playing too good on offense and defense for a team who relies on the jumper and who can't play defense to beat. The Lakers win streaks will continue for a while I think. They will end eventually, just not to any of those teams you listed.

OMG Dallas can beat the Lakers are you guys braindead??? During this season, when the Lakers played the Spurs (With Duncan and Parker) earlier, if you watched the game, the Laker bench just crushed them, the Laker starters were just watching the game while the bench put on a show!!!!
I hope the Lakers beat the NBA best record 72-10 set my the Chicago Bulls
Lakers will go 73-9 i hope

If Dallas can beat them, how come they've lost 46 out of the last 51 meetings and both this season. Los Angeles has their number. Dallas can't defend anybody on Los Angeles. They play the worst individual defense in the league. They don't have one real good defender on that team. Los Angeles, the only player that team can't guard against Dallas is Nowitzki. Dallas can't guard Kobe, Shaq, Malone, Payton, or George. They suck on defense and that will kill them. Oh, and just to show that Los Angeles has their number, remember last year. Down 25 going into the 4th and they won. Yea, if you can do that, you have a teams number. Dallas is the inferior team and really, unless they can hit the open jumpers, they can't beat Los Angeles.
