Team Updates
Orlando The Magic finally broke their streak and prevented the embarrassment of making history. Zaza Pachulia has come on strong for the Magic, providing to be a great spark off the bench. Steven Hunter has see a decline in minutes since Johnny Davis took over.

New Jersey The Nets are starting to play solid basketball and have won 3 straight. Richard Jefferson dropped 31 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in a victory against the Sonics.

[quoteright] "It was really getting heavy on me," he said. "Everyone was pointing fingers at T-Mac, saying his value was going down, he wasn't as good as he used to be -- all kinds of crazy stuff. Maybe now, that'll stop."

The 'X' Factor
Can the Nets maintain McGrady?

My Predictions
If the Nets get off to their running game, this could be a long night for the Magic.

Nets win

She's done it again! :P Great preview.

But anyway, the game. I think the Nets will take this easily if they play well, but if we have a good game against the Wizards, we could keep it closer.

Ice, how come you always predict a Magic lost? You gotta have confidence in your team.

But there's a thin line between confidence and bias.

The nets have sucked this year so by saying the magic will beat them isnt biased. And their is nothing wrong with being biased. As long as you dont get out of hand, and say something stupid, and saying the magic will beat the nets is not a crazy prediction.

The Magic will win this game. The Magic are playing with a deal of confidence. Tracy will have to score big for the Magic tonight in order for this team to taste win #3.

The Magic play the Wizards tonight, not the Nets. We play them on Friday.

Check this out. I think the Magic will win this one. I think the Nets won't get back to their running game and won't play like there supposed to. I also think they won't contain T-mac. i also expect everyone on the magic to have a great game. Magic by 9. By the way nice preview Ice

No one can contain T-Mac? You seem to be forgetting that the Nets are one of the best defensive teams. But let's see your scenario. If no one can stop T-Mac, that would be one person. Does that guarantee a win? Of course not! No one could stop T-Mac in their losses. For you to win against a team like the Nets, all of your guys should step up.

Besides, who can contain Kidd, K-Mart and Jefferson?

Nets win this one.

Until that victory to break the streak, the entire Magic team didn?t have confidence. When making a prediction you have to consider those sort of things. I'm not putting down my team but reality is they are not the same as last year and won?t be winning as many games this season.

You can?t be biased.

Last season they were an up tempo team that liked to run and get fast break points. This season, they aren?t even sure what they are yet. Pat Garrity opened the floor and made teams step out to defend. The Magic don?t even have that advantage anymore, he?ll be out for the season. Juwan Howard slows things down and The Hammer just isn?t starting material. Tryonn Lue has played solid and has impressed me thus far?but lets face it, he too is not starting material. Tracy McGrady is the only player who doesn?t look lost out there.

I hope I answered some of your questions. I'm not putting down the Magic by predicting a loss every night; I just look at their roster and see that everything has changed. Last season they played an up-tempo game and had Darrell Armstrong to provide the spark when needed. Who does that this year? No one. They have slowed everything down, and lack the energy. Hopefully things will turn around.

I'm sure breaking the streak helped the confidence out.

Keep reading my previews, I?ll predict a Magic win eventually [IMG]

Nets win 99-95. Magic were very balanced as Tmac had 20 pts 9 boards 4 assists, Juwan Howard had 20 pts 6 boards 6 assists, and Drew Gooden had 19 pts 13 boards. Tmac got injured, but came back and scored 16 of his 20 pts in the 4th quarter. Last play of the game he landed on his foot wrong, and he limped off the court when the game ended.

Hey we played a very decent game but what's this about t-mac being hurt. If he is the Magic are in trouble
