Maryland V Florida (1) This actually could be a good game to watch.Maryland have been dissapointing lately and a win over the number 1 ranked team will do alot for their confidence.Jamar Smith will need to have a huge game if Maryland are to come away with the win.
This upset will give the polls a much-needed shakeup. This seems like it will be another year whear the number one team changes from week to week. I expect the next number one team to be Missouri or Kentucky (if they don't lose to Michigan State on Saturday).
Canar Medley stepped up big time at the end of the game. He had 22 pts and 13 boards to lead the Terps. DJ Strawberry had the play of the game though, down 1 with 20 secs left, he forced a steal. Garrison immediately hit a shot.
Terps are now 5-2, and I'm really happy they pulled it off, I actually thought they wouldn't do it . Big games by Nik and Jamar, but thats already been discussed. Anthony Roberson had 20 points for Florida.
I watched that game and man what a great game to watch! They had everything in it! That is what I call Basketball! Amazing passes and shots and the plays they made! I am glad that the terps won! The played a great game!
Yea, Canar-Medley was huge for them down the stretch of the game. Had a huge OT, I think he had 9 points. It looks like he might be the one to be the go-to go down in Maryland. But, I thought that they were gonna lose this game when Florida made that tremendous comeback to end the half. Missed free throws though, and me and Rudeezy were talking about this, but, that string where Florida missed 5/6 at the end of the game, came back to kill em. Missed free throws come back and hurt you all the time. Prime example in this game. But, Maryland also almost killed themselves with missed free throws. But, overall, great game. Very entertaining.
Great win by Maryland.So once again there will be a new number 1 team.This thing really is like a rollcoaster.
What a great game this was, one of the best I have seen in a while. How is it that these guys can miss so many free throws? That was amazing. There were also some questionable calls down the stretch.
