Possible Raptors trade

Would you trade Tony Battie to Toronto for Morris Peterson, and michael Curry.

Or would you rather have, Mo-Pete and Michael Bradley

 

I wouldn't trade Mo Pete for Battie straight up as a Raptor fan. I would do a Murray for Battie trade tho.

 

Murray is more versatile than Mo Pete, but I think that the Raptors would rather keep Mo. The Celtics would probably prefer Murray, but they wouldn't trade Battie for either guy. Maybe a Murray and a Curry, but then they'd probably want to unload some cap eaters to the Raptors. So the trade probably wouldn't happen.

Battie is just too valuable a post presence in the Celtics minds, especially come playoff time. Even though Bryant is getting the starting nod at the 5 right now, Battie will work himself back into the rotation sooner or later. I just think O'Brien is still trying to work Bryant, Battie and LaFrentz in while still getting Vin his minutes, which has been a rough task so far.

 

I actually like this trade, but I don't think Ainge would want to make a move like this.

 

Are people actually discussing this trade? I mean, could it happen? Because I think the Celtics would benefit from having Curry. He was a force for the Pistons last year, and he came up big when they needed him. Mo Pete would be a great addition, but I don't see why the Raptors would want to trade him.
