I think this is a very awesome idea as all the ideas that seem to be remodeling the Jusstbball site are> great job of making a beutiful site. I really love coming here andf seeing all the basketball fans. I only dont like how arguments seem to happen everytime a person disagrees with a statement you might make about a subject. But the site cant help peoples opinions. But all in a lll this ite is my favorite site to visit. btw Justbball is my homepage.
It's nice to see justbball.com pay there respects to the history of the NBA Awesome Job Guys!!

I want to be a writer in the History Forum, but until summer comes, then I'll apply for the writing team.
i agree... but then again.. i could see the negative effect to that as well. Some new members would put up "repeats" players/teams. Some famous names and teams could get repetitive. I wonder how many people would post a piece on Jordan or ShaQ?!?!

This was an interesting idea for a forum, but it appears to have been dropped. I would have liked to see articles about those old-timers that appear to have been forgotten. Bill Russell seems to be considered as quaint as George Mikan and most people think he couldn't play in today's league because he didn't have any real opposition in his day other than Wilt. In reality, he was similar to Ben Wallace, except a little longer and a better jumper, and a much better rebounder. And no one has as many rings. I know it's really an exercise in futility to compare players from different eras because training methods, equipment, rules, styles of play and number of teams varied, among other things. However, it might be nice to give the younger members a flavor of the old days. I hope you rekindle this idea.
