    Time: 7:00
Place: THe most famous arena in the world, MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
    TV: Local, NBATV
    ------------------------------------------
    Probable Starting Line-ups:

    [IMG][IMG] Gilbert Arenas/Howard Eisley
    [IMG][IMG] Larry Hughes/Allan Houston*
    [IMG][IMG] Jarvis Hayes/Keith Van Horn
    [IMG][IMG] Christian Laettner/Antonio Mcdyess*
    [IMG][IMG] Etan Thomas/Dikembe Mutombo

*= Might start, NY daily news reports Kurt Thomas will be replaced by Mcdyess, and Houston has missed 3 games in a row now with a bad knee.
    ------------------------------------
    Injury:
    Wash- SG/Mitchell Butler/Knee/IR
    SG/Jerry Stackhouse/Knee/Out

    NY- PF/Mike Sweetney/Knee/IR
    PF/Maciej Lampe/Shin/Out
    C/Slavko Vranes/Knee/Out
    SG/Allan Houston/Knee/probable
    PF/Kurt Thomas/Questionable/Knee
    --------------------------------
    Key Bench PLayers:
    Wash: [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Kwame Brown, Jaun Dixon, Steve Blake

Kwame: 9PPG, 7RPG, 1.6APG....his stats are very misleading as how he has played the last 12 games...he has averaged 13ppg and 7rpg...last night he played with a head cold and a fever

Jaun Dixon: 9.5ppg, 2apg...Juan is a spark plug up off the bench, but when he is cold he shoots to much

Steve Blake: ppg, 2.2apg...his stats are also very misleading, he is starting to find his stroke from the floor and he is teh only true pg we have..he is great getting the ball to the big men...his only con is you can guarentee atleast 3 turnovers

    NY- [IMG][IMG]
    Kurt THomas, Charlie Ward

Kurt Thomas- 11.5ppg 9.5rpg...the Daily News reports that he will be coming off the bench, he should tear it up in the second unit. that is pending if he plays.

Charlie Ward- 9.4ppg 5.4apg...the perfect sixth man, he should play very well
    --------------------------------
    Keys:
Washington- Big Men, Mcydess is still a little slow, when Kwame comes in against him, feed the ball to Kwame right away, let Kwame utilize his speed. Arenas is just back from injury and played an ok game against Minnesota, He will need to have another decent game...Larry Hughes can you pass the ball...the second unit needs to play well.

NY- Stop Arenas/Hughes from catching fire, and also watch out for Jarvis Hayes, he looks like he is coming into himself again. Mcdyess is playing well, get him teh ball, and Kurt Thomas should play well coming off the bench. With Allan Houston playing now this will be a closer game than first thought.
    -----------------------
My Prediciton: Close one, Wizards by 5 95-92

    Great job VAs...

I'd pick the Wizards to win this one, but they've got to get off to a fast start.

The knicks will be focused on getting McDyess into the lineup, and it looks like Houston wont play tomorrow, so I think they'll struggle against the Wizards a bit.

here is an update: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Knicks forward Kurt Thomas sat out Saturday night against the Denver Nuggets because of a sore knee, allowing Antonio McDyess to make his first start for New York against the team that traded him.

Also, Allan Houston returned to the lineup as the Knicks tried to snap a six-game losing streak. Houston missed the final two games of New York's 0-5 road trip due to soreness in his right knee.</div>

What an embarrassing game...horrible calls...the refs were blind last night...

    Wiz lose 89-87

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The New York Knicks have a legitimate star in Allan Houston. The Washington Wizards do not.

Houston tied a season high with 39 points, including the go-ahead jumper with 18 seconds left, as the Knicks rallied for an 89-87 victory over the Wizards, who have lost four straight games.

A 10-year veteran and two-time All-Star, Houston carried the Knicks. He made 12-of-19 shots and 12-of-12 free throws, matching his performance against Sacramento on November 9.
