Grizz kill the Nets by 48!!!

The final score of the game was 110-63 in favortie of the GRIZZ. The Grizz forced 30 turovers and that was the key to the blow out. Grizz bench had a nice game Wells had 22 and Swift had 18 and a monster dunk at the end of the game. Grizz improve to 13-9.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! The Nets are really hurting now, especially after that HUGE loss. Man, the Grizzlies are really playing great basketball right now, I have to give them big props for this one.

Im not, they lost. They can bounce back from this. They have before, and they will again.

Ouch. What a loss for the Nets, what a win for the Grizz. What a pathetic and miserable performance by the nets.

Bryon Scott is finally getting exposed now that the real coach of last season Eddie Jordan has moved on.Terrible loss for NJ.Looked like a great game from Bonzi Wells along with his team-mates.I was told Swift threw down a nasty dunk.Worth checking out I'm sure.

It was one of the sickest dunks that I have ever seen! I believe it was Posey who threw an over the shoulder pass to Swift. It was lobbed up behind him and Swift reached back with his right arm, caught it, and slammed it all in the same motion. Truely amazing.

I was just shocked that the Griz had two players(watson and posey) who got 6 steals each in the same game. That is pretty sick.

Bonzi finally put up some better numbers too.

I admit I'm a new found Grizz fan since they got Bonzi in the trade.

I can't believe the Grizz trashed the Nets like that.

I had to take a second look @ the stats page, they had 6 players in double figures. [IMG]

Everybody get your shots in now because the Nets WILL 3PEAT as eastern conference champions. No, the Nets arent as good as the were last year. But neither is the rest of the Alantic division or the entire east for that matter. The top teams in the east are not a serious threat to the Nets come playoff time. The Pacers will once again fade come playoff time. You cant go deep in the playoffs with inconsistent point guard play. They use like 4 different players alot of minutes at the PG spot (Kenny Anderson starts, Anthony Johnson gets alot of minutes as a backup, J.R Bremer plays point during the game & tinsley plays every now & then). That is to many different players running your team during the course of a game to be viewed as a serious force come playoff time. If that doesnt change before the playoffs, then the Pacers will once again lose in the first round like they have done the past 2 seasons.
The Pistons, another team that people view as a team that can beat the Nets, really cant. They take way to many jump shots to beat the Nets. All those jumpshots mean is fastbreak opportunity for the Nets. I dont think the Nets will sweep them like last season(if they meet in the playoffs)but I do think the Nets would win in 6 games. In last years playoffs, the only Pistons that played well were RIP & Cliff Robinson. Well Cliff is in G-state now, so he cant help the Pistons. Billups will probably better this time vs J.Kidd, but he is one of those players that shoot to many jumpshots. The Nets kick it up another notch come playoff time & the pistons just dont have the type of players to play at that level for 7 games.
The only team I feel can beat the Nets in a playoff round is the Hornets(if Masburn comes back an plays at an all-star level). Baron Davis is the only point guard in the east that can play with kidd for 7 games(but his playoff play through out his career has been inconsistent). The Hornets have excellent size inside with Brown, Magliore, Traylor, &Lynch. They have alot of depth at their front line positions. And that is the biggest weakness of the Nets. But other than New Orleans I really dont feel any other team in the East can beat the Nets or even take them to 7 games.

Henacy, nice to see you making an excuse for the Nets, I am sure the players are saying the same exact thing you are [IMG]

I didnt make any excuses. I said that the Nets arent as good as they were last year. I just pointed out the fact that neither is the rest of the East(other than the few teams I listed)And I dont think those teams are going to be able to beat the Nets in a 7 game playoff (with the eception of maybe the Hornets)

P.S. Good win by the Grizz. I hate to turn the Grizzlies forum into Nets talk. But I must defend the Nets, when people are trying to throw shots at the Nets because we are struggling early. I didnt see anyone mention the fact that the Nets won 4 straight games before the loss to the Grizz.

Hey it's bound to happen right? Each and every team will have their off-nights and the Nets had one HELLLL of an off-night. It just so happened that this happened against a team on its way up.

    Nets' off-night + Grizz great game= blow-out
