<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Maybe if they hadn't lost 19 consecutive games, Magic players would have a little more bargaining power with Coach Johnny Davis. Captains Tracy McGrady and Tyronn Lue asked Davis after the shootaround Friday morning if the club could stay in Atlanta after the game tonight instead of coming home to Orlando. Seems the fellows wanted to experience a few nights of Atlanta nightlife before heading to Chicago for a game Tuesday. Davis said no, opting to have the team practice Monday and Tuesday at home. "Yeah, I know all about Atlanta," laughed Davis, who played with Doc Rivers in Atlanta. "But it's just about an hour plane ride to Orlando."</div> Link Shouldn't Lue be resting anyways?
lol, the Magic shouldn't be thinking of anything but practicing. I don't think this reflects very well on TMac, who should have vetoed the suggestion from the players before it ever got to Davis. That is, if he really cared about winning.
Who said you couldn't have fun now and then they won the game let them go clubbin or something. When we win a game our coach says no practice tommorow and then he says now you all can go mess around with them girls out there. So let them have some fun every 3-6 games that they win.
Sometimes if you over do the practice, you get worse (in the short run) but then again, when you've lost 19 games in a row, you NEED to practice. Good call by Johnny.
I agree with jump. Gotta practice if you've been through a 19 game losing streak. Yes, you need some fun, but you definetely need to practice. Hopefully we can continue winning in this stretch coming up.
