It all started since the playoffs last May. Since then, the Magic have been unable to close out games and gain confidence.

<ul>May 4: The Magic lose to the Pistons after holding a 3-1 series lead.
<ul>June 26: The Magic have always been known to pick busts in the draft. They drafted 6-foot-6 point guard Reece Gaines from Louisville with their 15th pick. So far, he has been nothing but a bust since he is now on the injured list.
<ul>July 7: Guard Darrell Armstrong, the heart and soul of the Magic, is arrested after an altercation with a police officer. Earlier, Drew Gooden got in a fight with Stacey Mack at the same club. Neither player was charged.
<ul>July 16: Orlando signed Juwan Howard. [IMG] So far, he has slowed down the Magic's tempo and hasnt played well with Gooden.
<ul>Sept. 9: Grant Hill says he'll need to receive a medical clearance no later than February.
<ul>Oct. 30: The Hornets beat the Magic, 100-98 in the Magic's home opener. This is the beginning of 19 straight losses.
<ul>Nov. 16: Pat Garrity returns to the injured list, thus keeping him out for the remainder of the season.
<ul>Nov. 18: After dropping 10 straight, the Magic fire Doc Rivers and replace him with assistant coach, Johnny Davis.
<ul>Dec. 5 - Rookie Reece Gaines is placed on the injured list.
<ul>Dec. 8 - Hill announces that if his ankle fails him, he may opt for more surgery.
<ul>Dec. 8 - The Magic beat the Suns, 105-98 to end the 19 game losing streak.
<ul>Dec. 14 - Magic GM announces his job is in jeopardy.
We really miss Garrity's shooting and Armstrong's hustle.

Yep. It's starting to slowly go uphill though as Howard is finally starting to play well and the team is winning. Coincedence?

Yep time is patience and that's what we have a whole lot of. When you update that timeline your going to see a whole lot of wins on their.

I think that timeline oughta go all the way back to the summer of '01. That's when the Magic decided to get greedy and go for two high profile swingmen instead of focusing on one(McGrady) and keeping their best big man at the time(Wallace) and their backup point. Both of those positions have been weak since Ben and Chucky Atkins left town.

Think of a lineup of Armstrong, McGrady, Giricek, Gooden and Wallace, with Atkins coming off the bench.
