Do you guys think his future is with the Clippers, and do you guys think he even has a future? I think his future is with another team and that he is going to be an amazing star, he will make the all star games, he will win awards, i dont know... What do you guys think? Current Stats: PPG- 17.5 MPG- 35.2 RPG- 6.4 (leads team) 3%- .356% (leads team)
Mvp award? Not a chance. I think he will be a very good player. But I'm not sure he will get MUCH better than he is already.
I'm thinking like 5 or 6 seasons of between 20 and 22 ppg, but not much more than that. He is definitely one of the best rebounding 2 guards, and can score in bunches. I think it would be best if he stayed with the Clips, but I have a feeling we're gonna be seeing him in another uniform either next year or year after next.

Right now, I don't see that franchise going anywhere, seems like they should always have a decent team, but it falls apart. He needs to get out of there, get in a better organization on a team that can contend for playoffs. With better players around him and a chance for him to shoot the ball he could easily avg around 20 ppg like starman said, and 6 or 7 rebounds.

I'm with allnet on this one, even though I don't think Kobe's moving across the hall(Buss won't let him leave the Lakers), I have a feeling that the trio of Brand, Maggette and Q will be potent. Potent enough for a playoff spot. The reason they didn't look like a team was because of all the malcontents. Kandi seemed like he was perpetually disgruntled, Andre Miller never felt welcomed when he came for everyone's favorite Darius Miles, and i think Lamar Odom resented the fact that his team wasn't 'his team' anymore. With those three gone, the three main guys can help tutor Jaric and Kaman to fit with the program, and perhaps aim for that elusive playoff spot.
I don't personally see him as a future MVP candidate, at least not with the Clips. Q is a great scorer and rebounder and a high-energy player, he would be best suited to stay with this team, put up 18-20 ppg and help Brand and Maggette finally turn them into a perennial playoff contender. I compare him as a player to another former DePaul Blue Demon in Mark Aguirre. Aguirre was a key role player on some great teams in Detroit, also in Dallas. He was basically a scoring machine, instant offense. This to me is Q's game, he will not be the number option with this team, Maggette and Brand are the go to guys. But, he will be a key role player on a very good team if he understands and accepts his role. More importantly, he will win! The Clippers finally seem to have the right mix of young talent, they need players like Q to be valuable third options on a nightly basis. Sure, he'll rise up for his 35-40 point efforts every once in awhile, but if he wants to win, he cannot do it alone. Do not mistake what I'm saying, I love this guys energy and ability to rebound as a guard, it's tremendous. I just don't think he's a number one guy, not yet at least. Only time will tell.....
That's true, on this team the #1 guy is Brand. And as Dunleavy moves to focus on wing guys, Maggette will get more attention. But I think Q is a better player offensively than Maggette, and although Q is a tenacious rebounder, it may be better to exploit his scoring for the team, and turn Corey into an all-around type, in the mold of Pip and Grant Hill. The team has a chance to have 3 20 ppg scorers, which is tremendous. If they can get a dependable pg, they'll be set to make some noise.
Brand will always be the low-post number one, with Maggette and Richardson 1 and 1-A on the wing. Maggette is much better getting to the basket, but Richardson is a better outside shooter and rebounder. They can both score in bunches, so on any given night one can pick up the other if struggling. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If they can get a dependable pg, they'll be set to make some noise.</div> This is the only problem right now, as soon as they get that veteran point, they'll start making some huge waves in the western conference.
Is it just me, or could Tim Hardaway bring a lot to this team, at least for the time being and for helping develope Jaric and Dooling? He's out of a job, and if he's even in decent shape can be a solid point, much like Kenny Anderson is doing in Indiana. Not a star like of old, but solid and dependable.
Yes! If in decent condition, I would love to have Tim on this team. I've been lobbying everywhere to help get this guy another job!
Lets wait for the season to progress. Q has had a history of starting off very well, but tailing off soon thereafter...
I don't know about that, Q was not healthy last season. The season prior he was a prime candidate for sixth man of the year. I don't think he'll tail off, I would just like to see him be a little more consistent. Then again, shooters are almost always streaky...
Q is a stud i watch him everygame. He needs to work on his shot selection. i dont think his future is with the clippers bnecause the clippers never keep anyone! Q will be a all star soon

Q will be a all star soon</div> That's the usual MO, but I actually think that this team is turning the corner. If they don't keep some complimentary talent around Brand and Maggette, they'll demand a trade. The Clippers will either do the right thing and keep Q, (or at least get something in return) or they'll lose their superstars and plunge back into NBA oblivion. As a Clipper fan, I'm hoping for the best, but not holding my breath.
I love Quentin, he's one of my favorite player in the L right now. I even got his jersey too, he's sick... same for Maggete, they're both gettin much better.
Q has a definite future in this league but as far as with the clippers, i doubt it, well it depends on the free agent pool if they can find a player of "equal" talent as if they know what equal talent is, they'll take him, they are historically known for not keeping their talented players. i.e. andre miller and lamar odom this off season. if history holds q will be in another uniform next year
I think Quentin And Ricky davis will go down in history as a the funniest and exciting rivalry in the Nba. They make me laugh when they plasy against each other. They just taunt each other with the head hitting thing after they do a spectacular dunk. Did anyone see the dunk where Q like jumped over some players on the Cavaliers and then did the head thing right to the camera.
I can say without a doubt Q.Richardson will be an allstar in the near future or even this year if the votes start pilin in didnt you guys see him against the raptors he was killin them the way he played his stats might not say it but he was.
