This is just my opinion, I think Jalen Rose is making poor decitions on the floor for the Raptors. Although I love his passing, I don't like the decitions he's making in the end of games especially how he takes very quick shots. Just thought I should share this would you guys, if you have a different opinion on Jalen please post it because I want to hear your replies. I am getting really frustrated with the Raptors play these last three games and I think Jalen Rose had a lot to contribute to that.
lol, it's spelled "decisions." For real, I suck at spelling too so it's arite...just run a spell check next time if you're not sure I think Jalen is a good indiviual player, but yes, his game doesn't make his teammates better. I haven't had a chance to see him play in Toronto yet, but having seen him play everywhere else, I would say this is a problem of his and many others. Dont get me wrong, Vince Carter is good (I notice he's your fav player), but his shot selection is pretty bad too...But i guess you can get away with that when you're the "man" on your team unlike Rose...
Yeah, Rose has often been criticized for his actions during games, being accused of everything from being trigger happy, to ball hog, to not tough on D. That was one reason the Bulls were all too happy to let him go for Davis and JYD. ps - Youre from Windsor? You should go across the river and cheer the Pistons. lol, j/k
i totally have to agree with you...jalen's shot selection has been terrible as of late. :thumbsdow Even if he does make his shots, they're not good decisions at all. Too many pull up jumpers and off balance shots that he is really inconsistent with. Now i start to wonder...why isnt' Palacio getting ANY playing time off the bench (He really isn't that bad of a pg) Also, i have to question K.O.'s decision in keeping vince out of the game for so long in the 4th. I.M.O i think vince should be on for a lot of the 2nd half (unless he gets into fould trouble). Also, Vince's shot selection may not be that good...but he is the best all around shooter and creater on the team Raptors should have taken the game today...oh well at least Detroit isn't doing that great as well
Jalen I agree that Jalen's taken some odd shots, not letting our offense get setup, and kills the chance for any type of offense rebounding. I think as he gets a little more comfortable with our players, he'll make a better shot selection for himself though. It doesn't help that Jalen is shooting poorly at the moment also. Also, since Jalen game includes being uptempo and trying to capitalize on transition, it may come across as poor shot selection since we're used to AWill's 'setup and wait' offense. Remember that Jalen was brought in to be a second creator other than Carter.
You mean Jalen is taking ill-advised shots, forcing shots, and making bad decisions.....? No...........I don't believe it.
i dont know about Jalen becoming comfortable on our team...he is just too incosistent...but if he can make up for his shots by getting some nice assists, i think everything will be alright. + does anyone think palacio, lamond or moiso shoudld be gettting some playing time? i think it's unfair to judge moiso based on only 2 starts...he should be given the oppurtunity that murray had (which he completely blew :thumbsdow ) can't wait for the magic game, it should be good :mrgreen:
I had a feeling It wouldn't take long for fans to be questioning Jalen's decision making.He has poor shot selection.Always has done,so that won't ever change.Unless he is under the right coaching.He could hurt your offense come playoff time.
I remember it perfectly... Jalen's first few games with the Bulls. The Bulls won some games, and Jalen looked great passing the ball. After a couple of losses, I notice things changed. Jalen started not to pass to his team mates. He was instead taking fade away jumpers and would dribble down the court and fire up jumpers so quickly I didn't even know what happened. Things all changed from then on, and we all got used to seeing the real Jalen after his first couple of games. Now you guys can see why we were so desperate in getting rid of him.
Yeah, I remember his very first game when he made Tyson and Eddy come alive. That's how he was at first in Toronto too, getting a bunch of assists. He has it in him to play controlled, smart basketball, but he often decides to go loose, like he's trying to be a Reggie or Michael, when he should just accept that he's a Jalen.
It's weird cuz I dont really "get" him. I mean I know he's a great PG but he looks really shaky when he makes passes, like it will go out of bound anytime and sh!t, and also yea, he does make quick shots down the stretch wit reallly poor timin and shot selection... esp during the crutch time, I dun get that either. But w/e, he's still a force in the L... and he's helpin us more than AD or JYD would have ever done both combined, no offence to'em.
lol...i love it how bulls fans come in here and make sarcastic comments about our views and opinions on jalen...obviously we arent as queued up on some aspects of his game as the fans who have been watching him consistantly for the past couple years on subject, i kinda like his passing and distrobution, but i agree his shot selection has been crap. he keeps jackin up 3 balls, and missing most of em...hes certainly not hitting enough of them to warrant keeping puttin em up there. if hes going to be our point guard, i hope he starts to play with a point guards mentallity and let run the offence. if he plays more like a point guard, and let the offence come to him, rather then just look for a shot, bosh/vince/jalen could be a deadly 3-some

lol...well vinsanity, if you saw Jalen's pitiful performance vs. the Spurs, i'm sure your opinion on vince would completely change....although vince has not been living up to his potential this year (i wish that his breakout season will come soon...hopefully he WILL have one)

Give Jalen some credit He did help us win 5 games in a row didn't he? It sucks how everyone gets on his back when others such as vince and alvin are not doing their part either. Vince is taking some bad shots as well so all the smack talk against Jalen isn't fully deserved
