I will never understand how NFL players, especially rookies, can get into this sort of trouble. If they just looked at where they are in society, their positions and opportunities, maybe they wouldn't throw it away on doing something as stupid as this. Smith has the potential to be a starting tailback in this league, and possibly one of the elite, but this certainly puts him way back.
