Crawford said he's looking forward to seeing Williams, who suffered serious damage to his pelvic area and left knee in the accident.

"It will be good for the team to see him and have him around,'' Crawford said. "Hopefully, he can bring us a win.''

Do you think that Jay and Jamal meant what they said about being friends? It didn't seem like it much last year. Or are they just trying to be good teammates for the good of the team?

I wouldn't see Crawford going out on a limb just to be a good teammate. I think they really are friends, perhaps moreso after the accident. Crawford doesn't need to feel threatened by Jay, and probably feels bad that he got the starting spot by default.

I think the media really blew the whole rivalry up, even planting it in their heads, so that Jay and Jamal even started to believe it. But they realized at the end that they were better working together than against each other.

The whole incident probably put some things into prespective for Crawford. That there are more important things in life than basketball.

But the media did 'over play' the whole competition. Should Jay come back to form, Crawford, Hinrich, and Williams will put forth their best efforts to be winners.

I think at the beginning, Jamal did have a pre-judgment on Jay. I mean, he prolly thought, man, this guy wants to steal my job. But the media did blow it way out of proportion. But no worries, Jamal is playing the 2 gaurd now.
