Huge, HUGE news for the Warriors. Murphy is desperately needed and he will be key to the Warriors playoff run.

    UPDATE:
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">NEW YORK - Forward Troy Murphy isn't quite ready, but that didn't stop the Warriors from activating him Tuesday. Murphy, who hasn't played this season because of a torn plantar fascia tendon in his right foot, said he hopes to return Friday against Orlando or Sunday against Miami.

Murphy worked out with strength and conditioning coach Mark Grabow for about an hour at Madison Square Garden before the Warriors-Knicks game. Murphy said he has pain in the foot but that the pain is ``manageable.''</div>

Murphy is planning on coming back this weekend...great news for Warrior fans. Foyle also said that he is planning on returning on Jan 1. With these two guys in the line-up, the Warriors can finally hit their stride.

wasn't Foyle already on the injuried list? Has he even played this season? I thought he has a pretty decent season last year.

I believe Foyle only played in the first game. He wasn't on the IL, I'm not sure why though. He had a very good season last year and is a huge defensive presence inside.

Yeah, when I read that they finally put hi on the IL i was surprised. But they got Murphy back none too soon. Although Damp has been pleasantly surprising, i think the stress of being such a big part of each game is starting to wear on him, as his numbers are starting to drop. Troy should be a breath of fresh air for him.
