<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Shane Battier silenced Peja Stojakovic in the fourth quarter and made a little noise of his own.

Battier shut down Stojakovic and scored 11 of his 13 points in the final period as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Sacramento Kings for the first time in over two years, 105-100. </div>

I always knew Battier had it in him to play clutch like that. He had a solid game, as did Gasol(22 pts) and Posey(16 pts).

Still, Stojakovic had a big game with 27, as did Brad Miller(20 pts, 16 rebounds). Miller is a beast!

I give mad props to the Grizz on this one. Any team that is beating LA or Sac-town deserves some credit. The playoff run in the west is going to be extremely tight....

The most impressive thing is that they are winning with balanced scoring...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">The most impressive thing is that they are winning with balanced scoring...</div>I was very impressed by that too. Every night the backups play more than twenty minutes. The Grizzlies have had everything thrown at them thus far. They've had to play the Lakers, Kings, and Spurs. They beat them all. Their starting point guard, Jason Williams, was placed on the injured list with back spasms and their little-known backup point guard, Earl Watson, stepped up to have a game in which he recorded thirteen assists.

Right now I would consider the Grizzlies a top five team. Before you blast me on this, please look at their record, strength of schedule, and quality wins. If the NBA had a R.P.I. system then you'd see the Grizzlies at the top. They play great team ball. They are all unselfish and that is what keeps them going even when one of their best players goes down.

    Great win for the Grizz!

They humiliated NJ then defeated the Kings. Who's next on the Grizzlies' hit list?!
