"Two of them I forced it because I was frustrated. I didn't get any shots because guys were selfish," McGrady said after the game in Chicago.

"The team forgot about team ball," he said.

"You get frustrated because you are not making shots because somebody is selfish and it carries over to the defensive end. And it tears your team apart. ... It is a problem, why do you think we lost 19 in a row?"

Tmac shouldn't be leaking this comments to the media, they need to keep it within the team, talk about it in the locker room, and work on it in practice.

Exactly, he is supposed to be leading this young team, but instead he is openly criticising the players to the media. Discussing and working on faults is a necessary process in having a successful team ofcourse, but how will telling the world that you blame your team mates help?

Oh man, again it comes to the surface. The guy never developes maturity, thinks he's the man, and complains whenever he feels threatened. It's why he left Toronto, why he chokes in the playoff, and the real reason his team went on a 19 game losing streak.

If I were Orlando management(which I'm glad I'm not, John Gabriel) i'd find a way to control McGrady before he alienates all his team mates, which really are a talented group(moreso than Milwaukee or Boston).

This is where Grant Hill is missed the most: leadership. Forget about his 15 points, 7 rebounds 6 assists, and all that. Grant knew from his days in Duke and Detroit what it meant to shoulder the load of leadership and accept responsibility. That's something that could have rubbed off on Tracy, but sadly never occured.

Man, the guy is whining like a baby. He reminds me of Jamal Crawford. lol

He talks about team basketball, when he is the one who is demanding more shots... sounds ironic to me.

T-Mac is complaining about his teammates being selfish. [IMG]

I mean he only scored 26 points. His teammates must have done a horrible job of getting him the ball [IMG]

Unreal, thats all I can say.

Maybe this team should trade for a veteran leader, because they don't have one.

FOR THE LAST TIME, TMAC ISN'T SELFISH. HE IS TOO UNSELFISH. Actually I'm glad he said this, because now his teammates are having great ball movement. They've looked great in the 2 games since he made these comments. He has had 10+ assists in his last 2 games. Strickland is looking really good passing the ball. The whole team is clicking now. I think he was just saying this as a wakeup call. Btw the last 2 games are the best 2 games we've played this season, beating the best east team on the road and winning by their largest margin 28 pts. Do I still wish he would shut up and just play? Yes.
