Walker makes his return back to B-town. How will the fans react? We will see.

    Keys to the Game

Dallas - Boston is a team that also likes to run. Play your game the way its supposed to be played. Defend the three, thats what almost killed you in Toronto. Always remember Rebound and get to the Free Throw line!

Boston - Play transisiton D. Ricky Davis is a good runner so try to hit him up when you are in transiton. If you feel as if you cant get to Pierce, there is Davis, and vice versa. Keep the ball from getting to SADAM =)

I would really like to see Pierce torch Walker and the Mavs. I rooting for an upset.[IMG]

*Note - Tony Battie is on Cleveland now

This will be a very emotional game for the Celtic fans and Antoine Walker. He made a lot of negative comments after he was traded about the Celtic franchise, and he will hear the familiar boos from the Bean Town fanatics. It should be an intriguing match-up with Walker and Baker. Both have something to prove, Walker wants to show up the Celtics, and Baker wants to show everyone he is a legit replacement for 'Toine.

Unfortunately for the Celtics, the Mavs are a superior team and it's going to be hard for the Celtics to keep pace with scoring, even with newly acquired Ricky Davis.

The Mavs depth will eventually help them pull away.

This is a close game... 96-92 Mavericks with 4:24 to go. Dirk is injured and he looks really bad... they should take him out...

Its on ESPN, anyone else watchin the game?

    EDIT #1:
(Timeout Mavs) 2:59 left 96-92 Mavs. Dirk's knee is bad and he now has 5 fouls. He is still leadin the game with 28 points and 10 rebounds. Jamison is the key right now in my view.

Its time for Pierce to step up...what happened to ricky davis?

    EDIT #2:
Celtics just took the lead 99-98 with 1:45 left. McCarty has been BIG in this game. He hit a three to put the Celtics within 1 and then Mike James got a steal and the lay up. Dirk now has 30 points... this game has been great and these last 2 minutes are gonna be exciting...

I thought Walker was gonna make that three... and IF he did... I would have been jumpin cuz that would put the crowd to silence...too bad tho lol

    Here we go...

    EDIT #3:
Pierce just missed a key three and Jamison just got a clutch foul. About to be 100-99 Mavs with 1:02 left...

    EDIT #4:
    CRAZY *** GAME!!!!!!!!!!

McCarty hit ANOTHER (clutch) three to put the Celtics back in the lead 102-103. Mavs took it back up and Nash hit a CLUTCH three to put the MAvs up by one, 103-102...this game is crazy. Pierce almost lost it but he got a time out off and thats why i'm typin... here we go AGAIN 28 seconds

    EDIT #5:
PAUL PIERCE is CLUTCH. He was missin all those shots and now he just hit the most important shot of the game so far... 104-103 Celtics. 20 Seconds left and as Bill said, GREAT SET-UP FOR ANTOINE WALKER. Maybe he can pull off another Lakers bank three??? Paul Pierce is a beast...we'll see what walker can do.

    I Love This Game.

    EDIT #6
WTF my TV went to commercial RIGHT AFTER THE FOUL? Was a TO called? Well Walker missed the pass and Jamison got it... well now it just came back on out the blue and Walker missed the 3.

Paul Pierce is amazing and is the truth. Celtics beat the Mavs 105-103. This was a GREAT GAME for Basketball and for ESPN. The was also a high scoring game... which is rare these days [IMG] Great game... Mavs let it slip away.

    OVERALL, GREAT GAME.

    I LOVE IT.

This was an intense game... i'll loved keepom this thread updated even if no one was lookin [IMG] [IMG]

My marquee match-up has been anything, but spectacular. Baker and Walker have combined for a whopping 17pts with 4 minutes left to play. Jiri Welsch is playing his best game of the season so far with 19 points. Ricky Davis has a measley 8 pts in his Boston debut.

3:00 minutes left 96-92 Mavs on top.

Didn't see the game of course but checking the reports.Antonie Walker missed a three on the buzzer that would of won it.How funny is that.3-14 shooting. He really blew his return to Boston.Just like he does when he plays his hometown team Chicago. He trys to force things by trying to win it on his own to impress people.I bet Danny Ainge is saying "Yep I made the right decision here" Good win by Boston.

Its like sayin if Jazz beat the lakers jazz are better...

That last second shot was kinda bad, he should have dished it off to steve nash, or gotten closer... oh well tho game over

It has nothing to do with Boston winning. It's the fact Tonie shot 3-14 which in the end basically lost his team the game.Thats why Boston don't miss the guy.Thats why Ainge shipped him out of there. He is a bad decision maker that will shoot you out of alot of games.
