The Celtics moved up four spots.....before the trade, and the Cavs moved up one. It will be interesting to see how the trade affects these teams rankings in the upcoming week. Clipps move up 5 spots, wiz down 4.....but I'll stop spoiling it for ya. Rankings
Well, the celtics are going to drop their first two games with Ricky Davis so they will probably drop at least two spots.
Maybe, but I doubt they'll move much farther than 18th on the list. Although they are improved, they still have to beat the teams in their conference(and division for that matter) to really move up in the rankings.
Sixers stay where they are, I agree with the top 10 besides Rockets.. they have been playin bad ball lately (besides today). If anyone saw SC yesterday they showed their quater by quarter points for their last 3 from that point (0-3) and they were horrible. They are still a great team but I think they should be moved down a couple spots.

I like the power rankings, though I think Phoenix should be lower after losing 11 of 12
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">The West holds 6 of the 7 top spots. That says it all.</div> Yeah, it really does. The team in Midwest that is in last place, would tie for first in the Atlantic. I'm looking forward to seeing the Cavs in the coming weeks with their new acquisitions. Nice list. I agree with most of it. Look for the 76ers to drop now that they are Iversonless. They will begin playing team ball now that he is gone, so maybe i'll be proven wrong and they will maintain their status.
I fail to see how the Rockets haven't fallen in the rankings. They have played horrible basketball recently. They lost to the Spurs twice and the Timberwolves once. They have been shooting under 40% from the field and Yao Ming has been a no-factor recently. Yet above all this, they still have us ranked seventh. Am I missing something?
