The Heat just lost to the Iversonless Sixers 76-87. The Heat played a great first half and opened up very strong, but made a lot of crucial mistakes in the second half. Wade had the game high 22 points, EJ had 20 points, Odom had 17 points, and Brian Grant had the game high 9 rebounds. Odom only played 28 minutes because he was on the wire with 5 fouls. The Heat's field goal percentage was only 40.3% and the Sixers show 56.5%, the Heat had only 12 turnovers as opposed to the Sixers 18 turnovers, but the Heat missed out on a lot of second chance opportunities. We'll see how things go this Friday night when the Heat make the trip to Memphis. The last time the Heat met Memphis was in Miami a week ago and the Heat took the win.
Great quick recap from a heat point of view... I expect heat to win but I guess my own team surprised me... they looked as if they were a team tonight. This was a great game no doubt... head on over to http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread...9824#post139824 if you want to see a re-cap from a sixer fan lol

I expected the Heat to win to, the last time the Heat met the Sixers they lost only by 3 points and that was with AI, I thought it was definitely going to be a shoe-in without AI, especially after the pounding the Sixers took in the first quarter. The Sixers really played like a team, I guess that doesn't happen often with Iverson on the court, lol.

I don't take any offense tho. The reason why you don't see McKie puttin up 20 when Iverson is on the court is because Iverson doesn't trust his teammates as much. And I believe that they just let the game go into Iverson's hands since they don't believe in themselves. Iverson takes a lot of heat anyways... but remember how clutch AI was last game... that must of hurt
