I know some guys on here are too young to remember B.J. Armstrong when he first started his career(in '89), but througout his time with the Bulls he was always my 3rd favorite(after Superman and Batman). He became one of the top guards in Bulls history, helping win 3 titles and earning himself an all-star selection. Of course, he could have been the starting point on 3 more championship teams, and i'm still not sure why Krause didn't protect him in the expansion draft...

Anyway, B.J. came back several years ago as a player, then special assistant to Krause. He almost became the new GM, but now he's the special assistant to John Paxson, the current GM. My question is this: in 20 years, what will B.J. Armstrong's place be in Bulls' history? Will he be known as a bit player on the first three-peat, or one of the key Bulls from the Interregnum, or as some management guy who's always been in the background of the big decisions? Or could it be something more, and could Armstrong be the next leader of the Bulls reconstruction, replacing Paxson somewhere down the line, like perhaps 10 or 15 years from now?

    responses?
