Although we lost today's game, i was still impressed with our intensity...especially in the 2nd half. The person that i was absolutely NOT impressed with was JALEN ROSE! Oh my goodness...7 count 'em...7 very costly turnovers + a barrage of poor shot selections that imo, cost us the game . AND....to addd to his terrible performance, he tops of the night, he gets a STUPID technical foul late in the 4th that would soon enough give the spurs a 3 point cushion to seal the game. The more i see of Rose lately, the more i fear of the long-term (and short-term) and consequences this team may experience because of him. btw...i question O'Neil for not taking him out when he was struggling early, we could have won the game if he didnt get a lot of playing time today. Also, i know that it's a bit childish to blame a game due to refereeing, but today the referees were pretty awful...they should get their act together next time or there'll be chaos. * To add: I was disappointed with Bosh's performance tonight. I know he's a rookie, but he had a lot (and i mean a lot) of clean looks that just rattled around the rim. He needs to take the ball to the hole stronger if he wants to shine as a centre. * To add: The Spurs missed a ton of free throws and unfortunately, the raptors failed to take advantage. (sweet lay-up by Carter tho... :mrgreen: )
vince's defense may have been bad, but you can't say that it was more costly to us than jalen rose's play in the game...
