I heard that too, I also heard about a Darius Miles+Tony Battie for Mo-Pete+Jerome Mosio+2nd round draft pick. Battie would help with his defense and rebounding and thats what we need. Miles would take over MO-Pete, but Miles isn't consistant!!!Mo-Pete will help the Rapters more than Miles, But we want Battie I really like the Rapters getting Theo Ratliff, he blocks shots, rebound, got good D, and scores 8ppg. Theo would put them in the PLAYOFFS!!! Make a move soon, or the season will go down the drain, GET SOMEONE!!!
Theo would be nice, he would really take the center position over. But what do we have to give up to get him?
Hmm...what could we give for Theo?? I don't think they would want Palacio cause they're STACKED at the guard position. I think Moiso and Mo Pete would do it. Or maybe straight up for Murray (Maybe throw in Moiso or 2nd rnd pick in there). But yeah i would KILL to have Theo on the Raps. Bosh can't do the inside presence for us every night....he's getting tired.
u guys are forgetting it's not easy giving Murray etc to Hawks.... the Contract reasons too... Theo = 10 Mill Murray = 4.5 Mill Moiso = 1.3 Mill ..... dont think it'll work out.... unless some1 who has another 4 mill contract to be added in on ratpors side
I heard the Rapters are seriously interested in Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and since he got in in argument with Paul Silas and only played 10 minutes they might be looking to trade him. Plus Tony Battie has been playing great for the cavs so they don't need him, and Carlos Boozer has been getting 10+ rebounds. If the Rapters where going to make a trade with the Cavs I think they should go for Darius Miles in the trade. He comes cheap, not playing in 4 of the last 6. There's still the same problem with money reasons u can't just get centers you want out of no where for cheap things.... Big Z makes 13 mill and miles makes close to 5 work out the contract
I think Zydrunas Ilgauskas is that guy. He is a rebounding machine, hes 7ft 3inch, so he is huge and blocks a lot of shots. He also scores 15pts a game!! What more would you want. With Battie playing 35minutes a game lately, theres no point for them to keep Z. Also Z got in an argument with Paul Silas so they might be looking to trade him!
OK...i think that if Juwan Howard or Rodman came to the Raps, it'd be a BIG disappointment. I believe that either Theo or Haywood would fit us better than Z, but i would like it if we could still land him anyways.

It's OK, Jamaal is a good player, he really works hard every night, and plays good D. But I still think Z would be awesome here. Plus the Cavs might trade him, read the thread about Z getting traded if he doesn't step up his D in the JBB New Flash section in Special Forums colum. I also like Theo and Haywood.
there is no way in the world that Raptors can afford BIG Z because of his HUGE CONTRACT. u can't just trade silly players like Moiso/palicio/Bateer/murray because their contracts are too small. To take theo it's going to be a 4 for 2 or 3 for 1 trade. because he also has a big contract. Because u guys are really annoying me with OH i want THEO HERE AND Trade THIS AND THAT and BIG Z would be GOOD HERE FOR THIS AND THAT. IF Toronto wants any of those two Guarenteed 1 of their starters are going to be gone
