Zach Randolph had a monster game with 29 pts and 20 rebounds as the Suns were edged in a game that was closer than the final score indicates.

Stephon Marbury had 17 assists and six Suns scored in double digits, but the Blazers played very well in the clutch.

It seems like the Suns' problems are more than just missing Amare Stoudemire. They keep getting beaten in tight games which they often managed to win last year.

The Suns beat themselves in the end with all those TOs. Marbury played brilliantly until the final minutes when he turned the ball over with a careless behind the back pass and a few forced shots.

I saw the move, but they seemed to forcing more turnover from Portland and then just not executing to convert them to points. That behind the back move was kinda dumb, though that one Marbury missed layup I thought for sure would go in.

I don't know what has been going on with Marbury in the fourth quarter this year. He's been missing free-throws, layups, and open shots. He said he doesn't worry about being fatigued until after the game so I don't think him being tired necessarily is the main reason for him not producing down the stretch lately. I think it's just a stretch where shots aren't falling for him. Hopefully he'll be able to recover and get another win tonight.
