Great preview, I expect this to be an easy win for the Lakers, Suns have no inside game without Amare and he needs to be there if they want even a chance at winning.

The Lakers simply don't lose at home(the Dallas loss being an exception) thus why I am picking them to win this game.

I just don't see how in the world Phoenix has any chance of stopping the play of the Lakers frontcourt. Payton should do a good job defensively on Marbury. On defense, if I were the Lakers, I would put Kobe on Shawn Marion and Devean George on Joe Johnson.

True........ Suns frontcourt is totally screwed.... haha that is a good thing cause i want the Lakers to win, or the Suns can use the hack-a-shaq play which i find is so gay, so Shaq should stop jerking-off and start working on his free throw and of course Shooting, he needs to become more of a outside threat that will be a good thing for most centers in the NBA league to do, there arent a lot of centers nor power forwards that can shoot the ball really well

Lakers by 20+. I don't think they'll let the Suns back in it if they get ahead by a lot. They would've adressed the issue and with the experience on the team it shouldn't happen again unless they let the benchwarmers in. The Lakers shouldn't have much trouble, they're at home and the Suns dont have Amare Stoudemire and Shaq is playing well and Jake Voshkul is starting against him.

The Lakers should win this one, pretty easily. Lakers by 12.

    Great preview Purple.

I predict a Laker win as usual. About a 7 point win.

The Phoenix Suns are a injury-plagued team right now, Phil Jackson is 13-4 against them, and the Lakers simply don't lose at Staples Center. Lakers win by a cool, comfortable 15 pts.

Lakers win in a close one, 107-101, I'm never taking the Lakers to blow out anyone anymore. Though Malone left the game in the opening 4 minutes of the game, and never came back, there is no reason to beat the Suns only by 6. But a win is a win, and I'll take it [IMG].

I think Gp just torched the suns. Amare was missing also could of gotten some of those offensive boards that the suns lacked. All those quick shots by the suns didnt help either. I guess Shaq is plain scary in the paint.

Well the Lakers win in another nail-biter107-101. The Lakers are now 20-5, and still lead with a very small margin in the Pacific Division. I do worry about Karl Malone. Even though he walked off on his own power, the way he was screaming in pain looked serious, and I remember how the Lakers played against Utah in his absence, and they played in a sluggish manner. I wish him well, and hopefully the MRI results turn out for the best.

Back to the game.....The Laker defense is not playing well, and in these last couple of games, they've really had to sweat out these victories. Now that really worries me when the other top teams come in and play us. They better get their act together, or we'll be looking at some losing streaks. Starbury had a great game as usual, 31 pts. And I'm wondering where Gary's head was while he was defending him. [IMG] Our top five played very well, our scoring attack was very well balanced with everybody scoring in double figures. And Byron Russell is really picking up scoring 14 off the bench. So that's a huge plus for us off the Laker bench since people love criticizing it so much.

I will take wins as they come because it's better than being on a losing streak, but I hope they can fix their gameplans on these problems. Because next game, we're traveling to Oakland, and there are definitely not a cakewalk team. Should be another good finish to the end.
