If I got on before the game started, I would have predicted Bulls by 3. Cavs aren't that good. Also, Bulls are home, so that gives them the little advantage. It will come down to the wire.

End of the 3rd, Bulls up 73/70

Terrible quarter for the Cavaliers, they are handing the game to the Bulls if they want it.

Cavs take this one by 8, 95/87

James had 32 points, 6 rebounds 10 assists, 2 steals, and a block. LeBron scored the last 14 points for the Cavaliers.

    Ilgauskas with 22 and 12

Ollie had 6 points and 7 assists

    Miles, a 2nd straight DNP.

Full story and box score coming soon.

    wow

LeBron just took over at the end of the game. He wasn't really shooting that well this game but then he just took it to another level and scored the team's last 14 points!

    Go Cavs!

By the way, I'm new. Lifelong Cavaliers fan  I got your email King James, I didn't realize I had to activate the account to post, I was wondering why it wouldn't let me.

    thanks!

I think LeBron is beginning to separate himself from Carmelo Anthony in the ROY race, especially with Anthony in the middle of a 3-14 shooting night so far tonight. The only think Anthony has on him now is rebounds by a little and the fact that he's on a winning team.

Yeah, we have had many dabates here on the ROY, but this last week+, there has been no match for James, clearly. Many believe that Wade has had a better month than Melo too.

4-15 now for Melo, for 12 points, Bron may have a 2 point advantage on him after tonight scoring wise.

2 straight wins for the Cavs, 2 straight losses for the Nuggets.

Quote:

LeBron James did the No. 23 proud in his idol's house.

With Michael Jordan watching from a skybox, James scored a game-high 32 points and had a career-high 10 assists Saturday night to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to their second straight road win, a 95-87 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

It was James' third double-double of the season, his first since Nov. 29. He was 11-of-22 from the floor, and was 10-of-12 from the line. He also had six rebounds, two steals and two blocks while turning the ball over four times.

The loss spoiled the Bulls' homecoming party. Jordan attended his second game of the year, watching in a suite with former teammates Charles Oakley and Will Perdue. Jay Williams also was at the game, his first since the devastating June motorcycle accident that's threatened his career. Williams, who is still on crutches and is undergoing rehabilitation at Duke, sat behind his old teammates on the floor.

"It'll be good to hear the cheers of the Chicago fans again," he said earlier Saturday. "But, hopefully, I can hear the cheers after I make a basket on the court sometime soon."

Wow, I'm suprised LeBron wasn't more nervous with Will Perdue in attendance! :P

As much as I hated Jordan when he used to kill the Cavs, it was great to see a #23 on our side hitting clutch shots in the United Center.

LeBron had another monster game, his flow just continued from last night's against the Sixers.

I want to know what Mj said after the game...?

Not too much you can say about Melo having an advantage now besides the 'his team is winning line' because even the Nuggets are starting to slip, like I would have assumed. Nice to see LeBron break out, he has been scoring like crazy lately.

Hey guys. This is my first post on this site, but I'm an avid Cavs fan and have posted a lot on the ESPN boards before they went to hell and I know post regularly on another Cavs message board.

As far as the game tonight is concerned...

Lebron was just amazing for the 2nd straight night. He looked to get others involved early and then took over down the stretch. Two weeks ago after we got burnt by VC late in the game I stated that LBJ wasn't ready to hit those fall-away shots with a defender draped all over him with the game on the line. Well, since saying that Lebron has played out of his mind and made me eat my words.

I've generally be anti-Z this year because he is such a liability on defense. I respect his scoring, but his slow footspeed and difficulty passing out of double teams has had me leaning towards trading him away. However, tonight he stepped it up in the 4th and had some blocks and got his hand in people's faces.

I was a little concerned that Newble stayed in the last few minutes. I was hoping Silas would put EWill in since he offers aa low post scoring threat as opposed to Newble's disappearing act on offense. Either way, it worked out. Perhaps Silas was showcasing Newble for a trade?

While discussing trades, I think Miles' time in Cleveland is about up. Two straight DNP's coupled with Ricky D's departure restults in two straight road wins. Coincidence? I don't think so. Both have potential and athleticsm to spare, but their lack of basketball IQ will prevent them from being anything special in this league.

Well, I guess I'm done rambling for now. I look forward to some good Cavs discussion here.

2 straight road wins? Last week I would have thought that Ehlo would have a better chance of shutting down Jordan than the Cavs winning two straight away from the Gund...

    Welcome redscoon!

Thanks for taking a look at my ESPN post [IMG]

2 educated Cavs fans in one day? Now I am spoiled, hope you stay around.

Miles is as good as gone, but for who is the question, that is what we all want to know. I am sure that Paxon has the lines burning.

As some have mentioned already in this post, all I've heard so far is Miles for Hudson. Hopefully, Paxson and Silas handle this one better than the Davis deal though. They may as well have sent the message "We are trying all we can do to trade Ricky Davis" across the ticker of every Cavs game. It was such a poorly kept secret that the Cavs were very limited in what they could receive in return. I think the trade was a good one, don't get me wrong, but when teams know you are desperate to unload someone, they won't give up as much as they normally would in return.

I want a deadly shooter in return, and Hudson does fit that bill, but that rumor has been flying around for a few weeks now, so I don't know what gives.

I would like a Hudson, Brent Barry type guy.

Brent Barry isn't farfetched, given that Ray Allen's comeback soon coupled with Murray's play leaves few minutes at 2 guard, and the Sonics want to develope Ridnour at the point.

Not too sure about the Hudson rumors. I think Cleveland sees Bremer in the Hudson mold, and its only his second season, so he could get better. Chances are he's in the rebuilding scheme for the time being. But Barry'd be a great veteran presence, something Paxson and Silas can appreciate.

    ...

Ideally, the player I really would love to see the Cavs get would be Ray Allen. He has one of the finest jumpers in the game and would keep teams from packing the lane against the Cavs and cutting off the driving lanes for Lebron and Wagner when he returns. Until Lebron has stepped up lately, the Cavs have had no outside threat whatsoever to force teams to guard the perimeter. Kapono hit some shots, but he can't stay on the floor long because there a few players in the league that he can guard. Trading for Allen would almost have to involve Z since the Sonics are struggling with the likes of Calvin Booth and Jerome James as their big men, not to mention to make the money work out. I'm not really opposed to this though since the likelihood of us resigning Z when his contract is up is slim. I'm not really sure if Allen is even considered availabe for a trade though, especially with Flip Murray starting to fall back to earth a little. Its worth thinking about though I guess...

That's a good sign, no need to give the media anything to play around with, what they said they can keep between themselves.

PS: ESPN updates their recaps, so I did not catch that before.
