Who do you guys think is the best unsigned player out there right now? And don't say you boy Jojo from around the block who has mad skills...I'm talking about guys that have been in-and-out of the league or undrafted players who are playing in "remedial" leagues right now. Guys who have a chance to get a 10-day contract sometime during the year. For example, Mikki Moore, omar cook, shawn kemp etc...please give explanations...
I never herd of any of those players except for Shawn Kemp got to pay attention to guys like them. Interesting thread

Mikke Moore is a tough inside grinder who's seemingly in and out the of league every year.
Probably DerMarr Johnson or Smush Parker. Two guys with game, obvious DerMarr was in a situation out of his control, but Smush was never as dedicated as is needed to be a professional ballplayer. Keep an eye out for these two in the future however, they're both still young.
This may sound crazy, but Smush has all star talent, but one of the most terrible attitudes in sports, makes Ricky Davis look like a girl scout. Kid can shoot, hande the rock, penetrate, and finish very strong. Can't fault no one but him though.
Walt Williams deserves a mention Started for Dallas in the playoffs while Dirk was out and did a good job. Mark Jackson One of the best assist men of all-time Surprised neither have been picked up.They would help for experience if nothing else.

What a waste if he doesn't get things together. It must be something about them Fordham kids. Him and his former backcourt mate Adrian Walton (aka WholelottaGame) are both idiots. btw, i heard walton is playing jc ball down here in Cali, i dunno where tho.
Mark Jackson definitely, probably has a year or two left. Kemp is a great veteran big man to add to most teams, if he can stay in shape. Tim Hardaway can't do the UTEP-2 step anymore, but like Jackson probably has two years left as a servicable veteran backup who can start occasionally, like Rod Strickland. Charles Oakley - like Kevin Willis can come off the bench and put up surprising numbers for a 40 yr old in 5-15 minutes a game Those are just the old guys, but I'd say guys like Soumaila Samake, Mikki Moore, Corey Benjamin, Cory Alexander and Nate Johnson are probably the top young NBDL guys who I'd call up.
