Just got back from the Warriors @ Heat game, the Heat dominated with a final score of 104-93 and they led the entire game except for the beginning with the Warriors scoring the first 2 points, the Heat's largest lead was 18 points in the 4th quarter. The Heat played an amazing game with many notable mentions. Dwyane Wade scored a career high 33 points and went 3-3 from 3 point land with8 assists, Eddie Jones had 21 points and went 90% (9-10) from the field which is a career best and he shot 3 for 3 from downtown. Lamar Odom had 11 points and 15 rebounds, he played tonight sick with the flu and was on fire for the first half going into half time already with a double double, but he could just barely make it up and down the court in the second half. Rafer Alston had 15 points and went 3-7 in 3 point shooting, he also did some pretty spectacular things that don't show up on the box score, his agility and ball handling skills are just amazing, you have to see it in person to believe it. The Heat were knocking down 3's like they were at the free throw line going 10-16 from three point land which is a season high. Surprisingly, Caron Butler only had 4 points going 2-12 from the field despite being in the game for 29 minutes, and in other categories there isn't really anything worthy of mentioning, it was just an off night for him. This is the Heat's 4th straight win at Home and it will be extened to 5 in a row this Tuesday when the Wizards make the trip to Miami.
Use paragraphs man, they are your friend. I didn't get to see the game but it looks like my Warriors got dominated. Its okay, we'll rebound against the Lakers.
Wade is starting to look like he's going to be great professional for a long time. I have him on my fantasy roster right now and I can see that he's been making some serious improvements after his injuries in the beginning. It looks like the Heat are deferring to him more and more now, and thats a good thing because he is an amazing player. This years rookie class is looking to be the Best in a long time
When Caron recovers fully from injury and start looking like himself last year(possibly better than last year), the Heat might have the league's best one-two punch... haha after all, being a Heat fan and saying that to friends won't be as humiliating as it was...especially if u live in New York People were laughing at me when NY and Mia had the dirtiest rivaly going on like 5 years ago.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Startellis:</div><div class="quote_post">Dwayne wade rookie of the month double period.</div> its D-W-Y-A-N-E. He was by far my favorite coming from this years draft. I loved watching him at Marquette and I couldn't wait to see what damage he'd do in the NBA, and right now as a rookie hes been playing really well. He's one of the few point guards in the NBA that can do it all.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Startellis:</div><div class="quote_post">I meant to say earlier that Wade should be the rookie of the year.</div> Based on what? PPG? Wade is averaging 16.6, compared to Anthony's 18.5 and James' 19.2 If not scoring, it must be rebounds. Wade is averaging 4.3, compared to Anthony's 6.4 and James' 6. Well then, if its not scoring or rebounding, surely it must be assists. Wade is averaging 4.3, compared to Anthony's 2.9 and James' 6.2 Steals? Wade's 1.4 is very close to James' 1.37, and Anthony at 1.26 Thats not enough to make Wade the ROY. Huh. Thiz is puzzling. So exactly how is Wade deserving of the ROY award?
Rafer Alston spends more time at the point than Wade, and when Wade moves into a scoring role during the game that is when he goes bonkers. ROY? No. Wade has been hot, but not as lava-like as James has been in this same stretch. Thanks Vintage

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Startellis:</div><div class="quote_post">I meant to say earlier that Wade should be the rookie of the year.</div> Thats quite the statement.....I don't think so. Maybe if Lebron and Carmelo get injured for the year right now. Thats when he'll have a chance, but he'll still have Bosh to contend with.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Clock Killer:</div><div class="quote_post">Do you know that D.W. was so under rated i think he should have benn no. 4</div> I see where you are going with this but I would still choose Chris Bosh over Wade as of right now, you can't teach height...especially in the Eastern Conference
i think that the stats dont always count when it comes to ROY award. Stats do count most of the time but like last year, Amare got the award over Caron when Caron had better stats I think that Wade has a chance if his team makes it to playoff and LeBron and Melo's team end up in the last place
