<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Magic veteran point guard Rod Strickland will remain the starter until further notice despite the return of Tyronn Lue. Lue missed four consecutive games because of a hip flexor injury. In his absence, Strickland, who was signed Nov. 25, averaged 8.2 points and 5.7 assists. He hit the game-winning jumper in the Magic's road win at Indiana on Wednesday night. "We're going pretty good with that unit right now," Magic Coach Johnny Davis said. "Ty, being the consummate team player, understands that that's not an issue. There's by no means a quarterback controversy. Rod has been steady for us. It's nice to have Ty back."</div> Full Story What are your thoughts on this? In my opinion, Strickland has been exactly what the Magic need. He looks to dish the ball first and compliments McGrady well.
Yep, Im glad that Davis is open for change. We need a veteran player, and Rod is playing steady, opening up oppertunities for our higher scorers.
Why start Lue.. Stricklands playing great as a starter, and Lue did pretty good coming off the bench infact.. I think this could work, Lue and Gooden both started at the begining of the year seem to be giving the needed push off the bench.. I say stick with it..
