    ESPN's best dunk ever

I heard ESPN televised a show a couple of days ago where they announced the best dunk ever, has anybody seen it?

Yeah I'd be interested to find this out. The best dunk I've ever seen is MJ on Ewing, after splitting Starks and Oakley (I think?) on the baseline with a reverse dribble.

They listed top 10 best dunkers ever, was nothing special, stunk in my opinion, I felt like "they kept me watching the whole show for this?"

I was thinking about the Vince Carter dunk on 7'2 Frederic Weiss at the Sydney Olympics, but I'd like to know what ESPN said.

I don't remember, that's how awful they were, they were like no brainers, nothing that has never been said a billion times. Was just bait to keep people watching, like they always do.

I dunno about Bill Walton and his fellas ..
I'd say VC over the 7'2 guy is the best ever in Sports & Entertainment history !

Nah,'Nique's windmills were the greatest dunks ever done... Then Jordan's dubble-pump free-throw dunk... And then Vinsanity's 360 windmill...

It was not best dunks, it was best dunkers (edits thread)

We have 50 of these anyway.

    Espn list sucked.

    1. Dr. J
    2. MJ
    3. Nique
    4. Vince Carter

Spud, T-Mac, Dawkins and some other were on there. Terrbile list. Once I saw Vince at the 4th spot I muted this garbage.

you must've seen the wrong show, chump...
    The ranks were:
    1.MJ
    2.VC
    3.Nique
    4.Dr. J
    5.Spudd Webb
... and then I forgot [IMG]
But I think Nique should be listed over MJ & VC.. Well that's my opinion...

MJ is number one in my opinion. Power dunks, finesse dunks, acrobatic dunks etc....you name it, he's done it.

Apparently there were 2 different shows, because somebody else also told me that Dr J was at first place. This guy was talking about 'The Best Dunk Ever', and you and King James are talking about 'Best Dunker Ever'.
And to make it a little more complicating, the best dunk was not made by the best dunker [IMG]

Anyway, ESPN listed Dr J's dunk vs. the Lakers in 1983 as the best dunk ever, and that was what I was looking for.

    The BEST Dunker EVER is..

    Dominic Wilkins!!!

    * How do you not get a 50..when you do a 2-handed Windmill dunk in like 1987/88??

They gave Jordan the win because if was in Chicago! HE didn't win that Dunk Contest.

Jordan just repeated the foul line dunk TWICE in the same contest.

Dominic had it all! POWER & Grace.. He did shiit people NEVER saw before! IF you notice most guys today are just repeating what he did 20 years ago.

Not to metion it took him multiple attempts. I think the consensus was that Nique got robbed that year.
