Mississippi State has had a pretty easy schedule. I realize that they've beaten Xavier and Western Kentucky, however, if you gave them Indiana's schedule then I believe they'd have two or three losses already. That's beside the point though. I am impressed with the way they have performed thus far. I felt the losses of Zimmerman and Austin would be too much to take for a season or two. Afterall, Austin and Zimmerman were the heart of that team.
I don't think we'll be hearing much about them. I could eat my words later, because they certainly look like a capable team, but their record so far is pretty meaningless.
