<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kings forward Chris Webber, who returned from a checkup last week in Birmingham, Ala., on his surgically repaired left knee, remains unclear when he'll be able to return to practice, much less regular-season action. Webber's return date is of interest as far away as Tasmania, as shown by an e-mail from the southernmost state of Australia. However, because Webber said he does not know, even residents of Tasmania must wait. Webber said Monday that renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews told him he could increase activity but did not clear him to return to practice. Nor did Andrews, Webber said, give him a projected date of returning to play. </div> Sacramento Bee
The Kings need him back. He's one of the best players in the league, but injuries are holding him. I hope to see him back.
It's possible Webber will return in a few weeks. The Kings are doing great without him 18-6..So there is no need for him to rush back and therefore re-injuring himself.
^werd... There is no rush for Webber. I think its wise that he listens to his doctors. It would be very different if the Kings start to lsoe alot of games.
well based on listening to doc rivers during last night's game broadcast etc he saw webber practice etc and he didn't feel like webber was even close to returning to game action. he aluded to webber could run but cound'lt jump much etc.....and just looked plain injured still. what's the word from sacramento area on webber's true return?
he's just started doing some full court scrimmaging with the team, and is making good progress. He is still having trouble jumping off one leg
