On Tuesday, Gabriel acquired the team's third second-round pick in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. Orlando took former Magic forward Monty Williams -- who has been out with an injury all season -- off the Sixers' payroll for a second-round pick and cash considerations. For the moment, Orlando has those two picks, plus its own picks in the first and second rounds in next year's draft. I still think that they need to build their team around TMAC not rookies and these rookies are not as good as the ones last year.
Late First Round Pick?? If your getting a Second Round pick, he better go after teams that are at the same postion as the Magic.. The Bucks... Teams that will most likely have some higher picks.. Sixers are a playoff team.. Suns when they get Amare back are a playoff team.. It sounds like Gabe is talking with anything he can think of just to screw this team up..
There 2nd rounders, not 1st. I don't know about the Suns making the playoffs this year now, because they keep falling further and further behind.
