Either would I. I think that the trade would be pointless. No one ever seems to sign with Chicago anyway, so I don't want any risks.
Bascly they would do it because Mcdyess's contract expires this year. Thus giving them cap room. I don't agree with the deal though.
With the way Crawford showed he can play(refering to Cavs) I think it would be foolish to trade him for cap relief.
