JWill is a great pg IMO but he needs to be foccused only in launch and control the game... if he attempted just 5 shots per game he will look like a normal bball player...

I think the losing started when Mike Miller started his recent streak of not looking like a basketball playeer. Last 5 games 5.2 points per game... If you want to blame an individual look Millers' way.

Yeah I think Williams isnt the problem. Isnt he still among the league leaders in assist/turnover ratio? I think the problem is Miller's inconsistency as a second primary scorer.

Miller has been pulling his usual disappering act lately...JWill is NOT the problem, he's become one of the games best quarterbacks.

geez, when J-will is injured, or he isn't playing well, you're nowhere to be found.

Are you a basketball fan or a J-will fan? Post some more, put something intelligent, contribute to the Grizzlies forum, its dead in here.

Yes, Miller was in a slump, but I believe that is related to Jason Williams' return. So far in this thread most people have said how good Jason Williams is at not turning the ball over, dishing the rock, and being the quarterback of the team; no one has really touched on the actual topic though, Jason Williams' bad shot selection. Williams is an okay shooter, but he needs to distribute the ball more often rather than hacking it up as soon as he gets the ball.

I was blaming Williams when their season high streak (8, or whatever it was) ended. Watson was on fire, and while Jason was putting up slightly better offensive numbers, we all know that to say Earl is an infinitely better defender is probably an understatement.

I've never liked Miller though, so sure, let's blame him.

J-will is a great shooter, he is very unselfish. How could you tell him to stop shooting (spud), you're way off.

The thing that so crazy about J.Will is that he is so quick off the dribble. He can take just about any point guard off the dribble yet he seems to feel like launching the 3pter most times down the court. When he take the ball to the hole & creates for others the Grizz are a totally different team. Players like Shane Battier, Mike Miller need him to create shots for them cause they are mostly catch & shoot players. And when he penetrates it takes alot of attention away from Pau Gasol.

In the bulls game today Jason Williams was pretty mediocre. James Posey is a lot better than i though, Heck, the grizzlies were a lot better than i thought... that explains them being 6th in the west, huh?

Jason Williams is not a bad shooter. His shot selection is notoriously terrible, however.

Back in the Sacramento days he would shoot at any second, but he's much better now. He's a lot more controlled and I think he's a really PG. I'd love to see him with the Clippers if the Grizzlies ever gave up on him...
