Finley was cold until the 3rd quarter, but when given the chance he has hit big shots. Dont give him the oppurtunity to hit a big shot, he might just kill you with it.

    Keys to the Game:

Dallas - Maybe all the Mavericks got laser eye surgery as a Christmas present and didn't tell anybody. They zeroed in from 3-point range on Thursday at Sacramento, making 10 of 18 in the second half. Forgotten among the heroes against the Kings was Antawn Jamison, who had 16 of his 22 points in the first half. Without them, the Mavericks might have already been blown out. If they dont step up tonight, they might suffer that unfourtante fate.

Memphis - When they acquired Bonzi Wells, everybody assumed he would become a starter. But James Posey has hung onto the starting spot at small forward by scoring in double figures in seven consecutive games, averaging about 14 during that span. He has also shot goodfrom 3-point range. If he doesnt step up, the Mavs will step all over them. Also they need to contain Nowitzki as he has found his stride.

Dee's Predection: Mavericks want revenge from the OT loss in Memphis, I look for this one to get ugly.

DALLAS, Dec. 27 (Ticker) -- Michael Finley made sure the Dallas Mavericks would not blow two big leads in the same game.

Finley scored 24 points, including a key 3-pointer, as the Mavericks held off the Memphis Grizzlies, 104-98.

Dirk Nowitzki collected 18 points and 17 rebounds, Steve Nash chipped in 16 points and 10 assists and Antoine Walker added 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for Dallas, which posted its sixth straight home win over Memphis.

What a win for them. Hopefully they can keep this streak going. Next up Home and Home series with the Bucks.
