"Toronto" instead of "Raptors" !! in the Raptors' game @ San Antonio a week ago .. Vince's jersey said " Toronto " .. instead of " Raptors " .. which was on the other players' jerseys ... and he changed it in the second half .. and I thought it might be a councidense .. but in yesterday's game .. I noticed that his jersey said " Toronto " again instead of .. " Raptors " .. !!!! and this time he wore it for the entire game ! .. he also wore the ShoxVCII for the last 6 games instead of ShoxVCIII that he was supposed to wear for the whole season.. I know it's not a big deal .. but I just wondered if any of u knows any thing about it !
Only explanation I could think of for the jersey would be a careless equipment manager. It must have been an oversight on his part, because I'm sure it wasn't due to a lack of jerseys being available.
I didn't pay much attention but don't the purple road uniforms say TORONTO and the white home jerseys say RAPTORS...as always????

They just changed it from Toronto to Raptors this year but Vince was wearing a jersey that says Toronto on it. Maybe the pic was from last year?
Air Canada is saying that in the game he was watching this year, Carter was wearing last year's jersey instead of this year's one like his teammates. Just thought I'd clear that up. I don't think it was an equipment manager, though they've made some careless screwups througout history. I think VC is wearing his old jerseys, from last year, that he might have at his house or stowed away in his locker. Maybe he's donating his ones from this year, dunno, but it could easily be that he's trying to make a fashion statement or a philosophical statement as AirJordan said.
I usually watch all the Raptor games on tv or live and i didnt even notice that. Sometimes its boring watching the Raps lose though.

I just find it hard to believe that the Raptors would outfit Carter in a jersey different from that of his 'mates. With the Keon Clark controversy a couple years ago, I'd think they would try to have him blend in as much as possible.
weird...some sharp eyes there.... And whats with all the new jerseys. Jersey sare supposed to say the Teams city on away jerseys, and the Teams name @ home games. They changed it for the Rofckets, and with the Raptors, any other teams? And its said hes been wearing VC2s becuase of his ankles. Its not that the VC3s hurt his ankles or do any damage. Its just the VC2s are more comf around the ankles(rumour)

This is all wierd, maybe they are aliens, lol, j/k. I think something happened to his new jersey (this year's) and he had to wear one from last year. Just a thought.
