Teflon Dave Wannstedt tells sideline reporter Bo Kimbeckler that "even if we cant run the ball, were not gonna throw it 50 times, thats not our team" so Wannstedt would rather run Travis Minor into a brick wall than take a chance with Fiedler or Feeley at producing offense?? that comments says so much about Wannstedt as a coach, specifically, his unwillingness to incorporate new ideas, take any chances ever(BA calls him Vanilla Dave for a reason), make adjustments when things arent going well, or trust his QBs with the ball and his job on the line....can you imagine if he was a ship captain: ICEBERG!!!! ICEBERG!!!! STRAIGHT AHEAD!!!!!! "well, its too risky to turn the ship, there may be other icebergs to the left and right....the best course is to go straight ahead and hit the one we see...maybe the ship wont sink despite the peril my cowardice has put it in...." Why bring in Marty Booker, its not like they are gonna throw it....when he gets fired in Miami, I dont think Exxon will calling him for a job interview...maybe he can get a job teaching testicular cancer survivors how to live without nuts, its the one thing hes got down pat....
He probably would run Minor, Morris, Konrad, Russell & anyone else into a brickwall rather than throw the ball. I still can't figure out why you know who won't give Leonard Heny & Rosenfels. Is it because they might succeed & produce?? I about passed out when I read the new offensive co-ordinator was using motion & different formations. Dave, I'm sure, gagged at the attempt to bring the offense into the 1930's. There is a reason Dave prefers Jay. It's so the QB effiecency rating will be in the same ballpark as Wanny's IQ.
