What all happened to me over the holidays? I went to Boston after practice on the 23rd and got to see my old college roommate with his family. So, I got to see them for a couple of days, which was nice. Christmas day was mostly spent on airplanes. I flew back to Philadelphia from Boston, then again from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. So, it was a good six or seven hours on the plane, but that's okay. I had a bunch of family in LA. I was actually born right outside of Los Angeles and still have a lot of family out there, and I hung out with 20 or so family members that night. They all went to the game the next day. A bunch of members from my old church in California bought tickets to the game. There was a little over 200 there - quite a following. It was really nice for all of them to come out and support me like that. It was pretty cool.</div> Kyle Korver Sixers.com Full Article They all bought tickets, ah he should have hooked them up!
Entry: #2 <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kyle Korver's Journal Dec. 28, 2003 (part 2) What's goin' on? This is journal entry no. 2. What's happened the last four hours? First of all, we're supposed to be out here in the desert, and it's freezing cold. My wake up call says it's going to be a high of 56 degrees. I think that they are lying because it is absolutely frozen and I didn't bring a coat. I'm thinking I'm going to the West Coast. So, I'm a little bit chilled, but that's all right. Had a little shootaround this morning in a freezing-cold arena. Took a while for everyone to get warm, but I think we had a pretty good shootaround. Now we only have a couple hours at the hotel because we have a 6 o'clock game. We've got to get ready quick, play Phoenix, and then take off for Utah. Hopefully the game goes well tonight. Talk to you guys tomorrow.</div> Kyle Korver Sixers.com Full Article
Entry: #3 <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kyle Korver's Journal Dec. 29, 2003 Not a whole lot's happened in the last day. We played the game last night, it didn't go as well as planned. Then, we flew to Salt Lake City, Utah last night. I made a rookie mistake and forgot a coat ? was thinking west coast. Big mistake, we're in Utah and there?s like 10 feet of snow on the ground. I think I'm going to have to steal one of my brothers' Christmas presents for a day and use a coat that I got him. I don't think he'll get too upset about that. Anyway, today there is not a whole lot going on. Can't really go anywhere. Everyone's tired from the game last night, plus you can't really walk around because there's a lot of snow on the ground. There's not a lot to see right around the hotel, so I'm going to purchase a little movie in my room, watch that and maybe fall asleep for a little bit. Didn't get the greatest night sleep last night. I started getting phone calls at 8 in the morning and by 10:30 I had five more. So, sleep was a little broken up. We need to get back on the winning track tonight. This morning we had a team meeting, went over the film from the first half and the third quarter. Talked about the good things, the bad things. Went through some stuff for tonight, match-up stuff, things we want to look at that they will probably be doing. We all had breakfast and that was good, and I'll have to get room service later, probably a chicken sandwich or something.</div> Kyle Korver Sixers.com Full Article
