<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LeBron James scored 32 points, including 12 in a 14-2 spurt that closed the Cleveland Cavaliers' 86-74 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night. James also had 10 rebounds and nine assists, dominating the final seven minutes. The rookie outscored the Trail Blazers all by himself in the fourth quarter, 12-8. James scored six straight points to put Cleveland ahead 78-72 with 5:48 to play, then capped the 14-2 run with the final six points of the game -- the last two on a resounding dunk with 34 seconds to play. James shot 15-for-23 from the field as the Cavaliers won their 10th game -- something that didn't happen last season until Feb. 5. Zach Randolph scored 20 points and Rasheed Wallace added 17 for the Trail Blazers, the only NBA team without a road win (0-10). Portland's eight-point fourth quarter was the lowest-scoring final period in team history. James started the game-ending spurt by hitting an off-balance jumper from the corner, then drove aggressively to the basket 50 seconds later. Leading 76-72, the rookie called for the ball on the left baseline and posted up against Randolph. When Damon Stoudamire came over to help defensively, James spun to his right and split the double-team to score.</div> Full Story Box Score <font size="1">Enjoy reading that TB76, that attacks and kills every single one of your points right there, have a good day.</font>
wow...I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about Lebron. After watching his games in HS, and his preseason, I thought it would take at least a year for him to put him decent numbers. But he's putting up fantastic numbers already...and it doesn't look like he's slowing down. As much as I would hate to see a rookie in the All-star game, I don't see how you can keep him out...
LeBron's updated season stats... 20.2 points 5.9 rebounds 6.1 assists 1.58 steals Was shooting a solid .417% from the field before this 15/23 game tonight, so that will go up some. James is ahead of players like McGrady, Iverson, Francis, Ginobili, Odom, Arenas, Ben Wallace, Baron Davis, and Q. Richardson. Also going into tonight he was shooting .770% from the line, was 2-2 tonight, so that will stay on a steady pace. James has also sank 32 treys so far this year, more than players like Marbury, Mike Miller, Sprewell, and Nowitzki. James is turning the ball over 3.87 times a game, behind the 4.37 of Paul Pierce and the 4.29 of Allen Iverson. Other top 10 turnover prone players are Odom, Francis, Kidd, Vince, and Randolph. I hope this clears some things up for the haters.
This kid is unreal. 4 turnovers game for a rookie learning the position of NBA point guard is not so bad at all, considering his other stats. An absolute phenomenen, and it's good to see the haters slowing going into hibernation.
Did the Cavs win or did Lebron win? LOL The Blazers have sunk to a new low. As allnet stated, that losing streak should have ended here. I don't mean to take anything away from the Cavs, they are an up and coming team but the Blazers are obviously a more talented team. Its sad to watch.
ESPN's Sean Elliott called LeBron James the best player in the Eastern Conference as of right now, because no one is doing more for his team. Sean also said that if James would lead the Cavaliers to the playoffs, that it would not be far fetched for him to land a few MVP votes. Before you lash out, look at what James has done the last 10 games, scoring exactly 26 points per game. <font size="1">So don't get too carried away with what he said, read and pay attention to where he was coming from.</font>
Sorry, but no way he leads them to the playoffs this year. But I agree, he is doing A LOT for that team.
The playoff push will depends a lot on what this team will get in return for Miles and Ilgauskas. Don't forget about Wagner and Diop coming back too within the next 2 weeks. The Cavs are only about 3 games out of the 8th seed as of now, which is not very far out at all. Again, all depends on health and deals, the first deal worked out very well for this team.
I never expected Lebron to be this good this fast. He will be an amazing player. (If you don't consider him to be amazing right now) Why are some of you mad that he is turning the ball over? Not only is he a rookie, but the more you have the ball in your hands, the more you will turn it over. Look at the leaders in the turnover category, all of them are the main ballhandlers on their team, and most of them are stars. (Iverson, Pierce, Francis, Kidd) Magic Johnson led the league in turnovers a few times because he always had the ball. For a rookie who is playing 40 minutes a game and turns it over less than 4 times per game, that is not a bad stat. His assist per turnover ratio is 1.55, not great but good enough for a rookie. Stop the hate, Lebron is great!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting PyroManiac:</div><div class="quote_post"> Stop the hate, Lebron is great!</div>We have our first official JBB cheerleader! HORRAY! Seriously though, he is having a great season and it is just critics like me who like to point out the negatives. Its my duty as a devout fan.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting PyroManiac:</div><div class="quote_post">Stop the hate, Lebron is great!</div> Now those are some cheers that any 16 year old blonde bombshell should be glad to lead
It's like that? I didn't mean to make it rhyme. I just wrote it, and noticed that it rhymed. I was too lazy to change it. I hoped that if I didn't make it into a new little paragraph that it would go unnoticed, but with two quotes of it, I guess it is now famous. Does being the official cheerleader come with an award listing under my profile? YAY, !!!
Na, we are just having some fun yo, and don't worry about the cancers that come in here and try to ruin everything, we just remove them one at a time. They have been coming in here all year. Thanks for posting

Blazers are really more than a 500 team...They are a 45-50 win team. The road form is the reason they aren't at least 6 games above 500 right now. They finally got their first road win tonight...and will likely go on a run in terms of winning streaks as they do every season.Cavs beating them really shouldn't be expected.
I won't make any excuses for Portland, even if the Cavs have been the punching bag of the league for a few years now. Since the trade the Cavs have played really well, you know that.
Of course,Cavs have played well since the trade As I expected.Getting some vets in was the answer.Williams and Battie have been the prefect players to add to the roster.
