Watching a young player grow up before your eyes is one of the marvels of the NBA, and Josh Howard is sprouting like a weed.

The Mavericks had several heroes in an uplifting 104-98 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. But it was the rookie from Wake Forest that made the plays that burned themselves into the memory banks.

Read the hightlights. The Steve Nash fastbreak/slam was enough to have anybody hyped, even if you arent a Mavericks fan.

I thought you really meant that Howard had a growth spurt, cuz Hedu had his last year lmao

Mavs are playin better, but they need a big man.

The only thing I didn't like about that fast break was the camera angle. It always annoys me when they go that floor camera behind the bottom of the goal.

Josh will need to spend the summer working on his jumper, but you gotta love his hustle plays.
