Allnet's Prediction-Pistons are at home and need to take advantage of that.Pistons have for some reason struggled with the top teams in the east so far.The record against the conferences elite needs to improve...A statement game is needed here. This prediction is purely down on home court and the fact the Pistons need to pull one over on one of the east favourites. Pistons by 3
I think B.Diddy and the Hornets will take this one. I don't think the Pistons will contain as much as they need to. The Hornets have also been playing good basketball lately. All B.Diddy has to do is stop shooting 3's and drive to the basket. If he does this then Hornets walk away with the W. Hornets by 7.
I hate to say it, but the way the Pistons have been playing lately, odds are definitely tilted in the Hornets' favor. The Pistons just have such inconsistency, and you never know if you'll get the hard working team or the unmotivated one. I would watch out for Rip, though, because it seems he has a hot hand as of late.
As everybody knows, the Pistons have not been a good team this year. We have been inconsistent and lacked any real effort like we showed last year. We need to establish a good streak, and this is an important game for that reason. We play a large sum of home games in the strech, so we need to regain the crowd's favor. The Pistons need to come out strong and never stop, and we should come out with a win. Pistons by 5.
Look for the Pistons to come out hard on the defensive end. I dont think the Hornets will be able to break them. Pistons by 6.
Well, the Pistons won. I was worried when the Hornets went on a 12-0 run to tie the game, but the Pistons held their ground. Good game! Glad that Billups found his stroke. 108-99, we win by 9! Now we have tied the longest streak ever of holding opponents to under 100 points a game since the shot clock was introduced! 23 straight games! I was worried since they could have broken our streak. I think that we have proved that when we play our game, we are the best team in the East. If they did not go on a 12-0 run, we could have won by 21! Look at it that way! Also, lets hope that this allows the Pistons to get a winning streak going, the Hornets are a good team and this game should build some confidence.
Pistons get the win 109-99 Finally some SCORING.....The key to the game was stop Davis when driving and I thought that was done very well tonight.Billups dominated him..with 31 points on 10-16 shooting. Can we say the Chauncey of old is back? he also hit 4 three-pointers.Ben Wallace had 16 points 18 rebounds and 2 blocks... 12 point lead going into the 4th quarter and suddenly a tied game...I thought to myself "Oh no..Not again" But they stayed focused and got a huge win.Baron Davis threw up 10 threes once again. When will this guy learn to drive more? He has the game for it...but settles for the outside shot. I will post recap and box score shortly.
The score was 108-99, not 109-99 but not a big deal. I'm just glad we got a quality win over a quality opponent.
What is with the .....? Do you want me to make it if you can't? If you want me to make this preview I can, assuming that you can't find the time.

Oh, I never noticed those on any of your posts before. I won't make a preview unless you can't though, since it would suck to have two previews. Just tell me if you will be able to or not.
I won't be able to do previews for the games at the weekend Jan 2nd v Suns Jan 3rd v Warriors So if you like you can do previews for either or both of those games?
