What's going on? The Sixers are going down the drain. Iverson may come back, but he going to be rusty as hell, and its going to take time to be himself again. Injuries are messing them up. Man there a whole bunch of things going on, how do you think the Sixers will end up by the end of the season and playoff's, and how will AI affect the team when he returns....BTW when WILL HE RETURN? I think its Janurary Im not sure though.

He ain't gonna be "rusty" and if its gonna take time, thats about 1 and at most 2 games. I dont' know where you got he is gonna be rusty as hell... As for injuries, its gettin better as time moves on, and we only got 2 more days of December so he will probably come back in January. He is Iverson gonna be rusty, I'm sure he is gettin practice done durin his injury break...I dont understand why you got this idea. Its gonna take time to be himself again? How many games will this be? 1 game, at most 2. You said it as if its gonna take a month for him to be himself again, I'm sure the first game, if not the second game he'll get 40 + minutes. Iverson will return in January? 2 More days of December, so he'll probably come back in January cuz no way he'll miss 2 monthes without goin on IL. The-Answer is right: AI will be rusty. But I agree that it won't take more than one or maybe two games for him to get back into it. I think that the other guys on the team have benefitted from AI missing so much, since they've had to step it up. They've also gotten used to playing with Big Dogg, which will help them. I think Philly can still catch Jersey for the Division title, but if the Nets make a run the Sixers will have to settle for 2nd. That would give them at best 5th place in the East come playoff time. I think its out of the question of them missing the post season, they're just too good for that. They'll be battling Toronto, Boston and Milwaukee for that 5th spot.

Afterall he has a bad knee, so its not like he going threw a intense practice or scrimmage. PLUS the team aint even with him. He probably practicing with his kids. BTW I got a gut feeling that this knee will bother him throughout the reset of his carrer, and he wont be the same AI we knew before the injury. Basically he heading on the same path VC went through. Im hope he aint, but I just got a bad feeling about this...
Does anyone have a RECENT update on how Iverson is doin by the way? Cuz its not to in depth how hes recoverin, etc... not that I'm aware of at least.

That shows that he hasn't stepped up and become a leader, won games for us. Allen cannot be with us every time, as is the case right now, so we need guys to step up, guys like Eric. True, Allen will be rusty, as is anyone coming off an injury, because they are used to practicing with the injury, and now they're thrown into a real game situation with the same pain they experienced in practice. I don't think it'll take much time for him to get into the same groove, or close to it. This is Allen Iverson we are speaking of, the toughest guy in the NBA. Other than injuries, what other things are going on that are affecting the team as a whole? By the end of the season, with AI's return and possibly his good recovery, I think we are good to take the 4th or 5th spot in the east. However, the playoff's are a much different thing, I see us going to the second round, and losing. Allen is scheduled to return in mid-January, but who knows. I have searched everywhere for his current status, and if he will be ready to play earlier than expected, or if there will be a speed bump. Coach Ayers has said that he had hoped to see Allen on the west-coast trip, but as we all now, that did not happen. So with that in mind, the thoughts that are circulating through my head, are that he isn't recovering as expected, but that's pushing it a bit. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting The-Answer:</div><div class="quote_post">Come on...How much pratice do you think he is getting. The team does not have to be with him, when he practices. He has a personal trainer, as do most NBA players, and even if he didn't the team trainer or associate team trainer would be with him, as he is the biggest star on the team. It is quite sad to see you say that he is "practicing with his kids" and to say that you are a Sixer fan.
