Carter has improved but i think if Carter actually drives and make people foul him he could be a very very dominate player though he is still good now in my mind. The dunking Vince is so electryfiing dont u think?
I think Vince is playing differently this season. A lot better than before but sometimes you see him being a ***** from time to time. He has stopped doing crazy dunks like he did in the first two years, thats dissapointing, it seems like he is trying to prove something like he's just not a dunker and that he can do other things as well. If he just let himself go and be the player he was before I would have more respect for him than I do now, not like I don't already. He is a great player, I guess I just miss his flare he had before, wondering if he'll ever play that way again.
No, it's not that he has to dunk, it's that he has to drive. It's that he will realize a lay up or a dunk is worth the same as a 20 foot jumper. Maybe he's worried about getting injured, but seriously he needs to drive if he wants to be the dominant player he used to be.
Kevin O'Neill realizes that Vince is a Top 5 player in this leagueif uses his athletisism, the injuries set him back a bit, but KO is brining back this mentality to Vince !
vince is taking it to the rack and playing aggresively all the time. anyone who says otherwise isnt watchin enough raptors games
I watch every Raptor game, and he doesn't take it the the rack enough. He usually just sits outside and take jumpers, and then he drives more in th 4th. I think KO should give the ball to Vince inthepost more often in the first 3 quarters. He needs to be more selfish.
The problem with Vince....He's a franchise player, yet he takes less shots then role players in numerous games... C'mon! If you're getting 90 mill then atleast score more then 15-22 points... Before, VC had atleast 28, 29 without a glitch, 20 unders were rare for him....now its more low 20's and in the teens... He's passin the ball TOO much now....be more selfish.... and KO keeps benchin him a lot more then Lenny did....
I think he's trying to kill the speculation that he's the next Penny Hardaway... A couple good years and then he goes downhill. It seemed that way, since he's been struggling the past couple years. But this years he's playing better, I hope to see him at his top game soon, like he was back in 01'.
I watch all of the Raps games as well, I have to agree with McGrady on this one. When Vince takes it to the rim in the 4th quarter, he is amazing and opens up so many opportunities. The problem is that Vince only brings this game to the first and fourth quarters. Very rarely does he have a complete game that he dominates. The last one I remember was the game against Atlanta a few weeks ago. That's the Vince Carter that the Raps need.
