I think that Mcdyess could maby be the same player he was before he got injured so i would keep him and plus i think AD sucks and that hes only good for rebounding.

I would definitely stick with Frank Williams at the point. The Knicks drafted him with the notion that he would be their future floor leader, lately he's been proving that he is indeed deserving of that opportunity. Hinrich and Crawford are untouchable in Chicago, after a dissapointing pre-season marred by injury, Hinrich has proven himself to be a solid team general. This allows Crawford much more freedom within the offense, and the results have been fantastic for the Bulls.

Back to the Knicks: I would keep McDyess, while actively shopping Ward. There is no shortage of need at the PG spot, so Isiah should have no problem finding interested parties. I don't think the Knicks have top many positions of need, they really just have to keep everyone healthy and provide them enough time to mesh. The key will be getting consistent play from KVH, if he along with Williams can continue to produce, the Knicks will find themselves right back in the thick of the eastern conference playoff race.

I agree that, when healthy, the Knicks can compete for a playoff spot, which is all owner Dolan wants for this year.

However, Isiah is eyeing the top of the mountain, and he sees the only route there lined with scoring point guards, so look for him to try to acquire a Troy Hudson, Jason Terry or Damon Stoudemire, if not this year, then in the off-season.

Yeah, I saw that, and was impressed. And look at Eisley. Banished to 3rd string pg now, losing more minutes in the rotation. Only a matter of time before he's used as trade bait.

Howard Eisley is still a solid PG, it seems like he's been in the league for about two decades, but this guy is still only 31 years old and has a lot of game left. His shooting hasn't been good this year, it's never been his trademark. But he's a great floor leader and will probably stay in NY to back up Williams if Ward is moved. They might be dangling both of those guards as trade bait, but it would appear that CW is drawing a lot more interest right now. Howard would be a great guy for a team like the Clippers, I know Overton is here right now, but I'd rather have a guy like Eisley who is a better playmaker.

Overton is ok, but he's gotta be old now, like mid-30's. Eisley learned at the hands of Stockton, so I would accept him just for that. His pass first mentality was really honed there in Utah.

Ward has proven recently that he can pass as well as he can shoot(which is only decently), something he failed to showcase for his first five years in the league(which is ironic, considering how he's a former QB).

I think that's the reason why he's being dangled more than Eisley, since Eisley is even less of a scorer than Ward.

what do you guys think bout Alvin Williams he burned you guys in the playoffs a couple of years ago and i heard if a team puts together a good enough package (maybe Kurt Thomas and Doleac for Alvin Williams and Lamond Murray) he could be traded

Now that Frank Williams seems to have proven himself worthy of a starting position, the Knicks would really have no need for Alvin. I would think that a package involving Thomas and either Ward or Eisley would be slightly more likely, considering the logjam that now exists in the Knick backcourt. Thomas will most likely go somewhere, I still think Dallas and Houston will have interest. Dallas could use him to bolster their terribly weak frontline.
