As some of you might no, are savior and friend Tracy Mcgrady is hurt. [IMG]
He has a hip injury which he was benched fot during the Knics at Magix game.
This is why he was playing so poorly in the first half. We pray for Tracy that you get better soon so you can help your team out by getting some more W's

Now, if Tracy isn't able to play his next game will the Magic be able to step it up to get the W. Does this tean revolve around one player so much that without him you all are considered nothing? Do you just put your head down and kiss the game goodbye.Or do you say "NO" we're going to win this one for you Tracy and for you the fans.Tell Me.

I say yes the Magic can step it up if Tracy doesn't play their next game. they aren't that dependet on one player. As Jump and Sporysrick have said they're starting to " Gel". With or without Tracy they still have learned to play like a team without selfish plays and actions. What do you think yes Or No. State your awnsers with details if possible.

Well written, I think we should go out fighting. It will be interesting to see how we play without him. If he doesnt come back for a few games, I say play about with the roster a bit as there is nothing to lose. Start Gaines or something like that, just to see what happens. The 76ers beat us without Iverson didnt they?

Yeah that's the point I'm trying to get across. They did it so there is no reason why we can't.

The 76ers are a deeper team (that shows neither team is that deep) so they can win without Iverson. Glenn Robinson has been scoring well as of lately, and im not sure if Howard can pick up the slack(he sure couldnt in denver).

Well yes they beat us.. But they lost to the Celtics, Cavs, and I think we are the only team they beat infact... There could be one or two others.. But.. Tracy's isnt serious and he should be back soon.. If we do play without him I doubt it will be more than three games... I think it all depends on who they face and if they have the hustle to do it..

You guys really need him, he's been playing really hard and well as of late, I'm not surprised he got injured. Plus he just recently recovered from his back injury. I've been very impressed with his coolness, leadership and maturity. He's keeping himself in the zone, intact and in control, no trash talk. He's a tough player, this won't hold him down for long, also he's a good enough player to not be affected too much because of absence. So have hope and faith and just picture this, with him out, it'll give your other players a chance to shine, some minutes and to show their worth.

Yes this is true the other peps get some long awated PT. But this could affect the Magic in getting their W's. They need them now more than anything. Without W's sportsrocks Sig would be nothing because the More L's the furthur away from the Playoffs.

I personally don't think that we can beat any halfway decent teams without Tmac.(We can't beat halfway decent teams with Tmac though) If by some chance Tmac does get injured, it's perfect chance for Zaza, Steven Hunter, Gaines, etc. The younger players a chance to play. (like jump said) They could turn into good players with valuable playing time.

You gotta hope that happens.. Its not good or him to be out, don't get me wrong, cause it really hurts a team when their star is injured.. But it can open up time for someone else to break out.. It happens all the time.. With any sport.. Hopefully we do get something good out of him being out for a couple of days... Someone stepping up would be a great boost for us..

I'm just happy we have this 3 day break between games. Hopefully the break will heal Tmac. If Tmac misses 3-5 games, we should just say to ourselves that we have no chance at making the playoffs and tank to get Okafor!

Me neither, he's been playing really nicely lately. Maybe not as offensive as before, but better, he's lost his selfishness and become more selfless. If he keeps up getting great boards and picking up the assissts, he'll be along the same level as Francis and Carter again. As of late he's really matured, I hope the injury doesn't hinder him from his new form of play.

If we do completely fall off the playoff bandwagon. I would love to see Rivers put McGrady at pg and start Bogans at sg. Ive always thought that McGrady could have been "the next Magic Johnson," so I would just like to see how he does at that position for a few games. There would be nothing to lose anyway.

I agree with you 100% easy Jump. I would love to see Tracy at the point gaurd position. He should be able to drive to the basket easier without the pressure of should I shoot dish it off or take this man to thre rack. If he plays could play point it would help out the whole team. Everyone will see the ball and might play like they want to and have to win. He would be so talented at the Pg position all we have to do is try him out.Davis should see how this works out. IMO.
